Gorillas aren't intelligent enough to use guns effectively. Good luck giving an ape marksman training lol. You might be able to teach one to pull the trigger, but aim? No way. If we ran out of bullets, we'd simply make more of them. If we ran out the materials to make bullets, we'd make weapons from something else, if we run out of weapons, we make barricade ourselves and live off fruits and vegetables. That's why humans are superior. You realize just because they don't tackle human concepts doesn't make them completely stupid right? Or can you speak gorilla, pigeon, crocodile etc and just inherently understand all animals and their ways instinctively? Gorilla's can learn sign language and paint so yeah they could quite easily spray some bullets in a general direction and failing that just throw the gun at whoever they missed. They're not going to be able to calculate distance, account for wind etc but short range shooting isn't that hard. Guns and intelligence is a really weak definition of "superior" again take away the gun from the human and it isn't superior, guns don't make us superior they enable us to kill superior creatures and that's it, teach anything able to wield one and is it then superior to humans because it can kill them with a single bullet? Also what do you really think we could make without the materials from bullets? Spears? Like we'd be able to do anything to an army of gorillas without guns, missiles etc no human has the strength to injure one all that much. Maybe cut it with a sword or stab it with a blade and it might die later but the human would be long dead. Virtually everything on the planet that can be a predator to us outclasses us in strength, speed, reflexes, instinct and stamina. Guns making us "superior" is nonsense how can outright superiority be finite?

Anyway the glass really needs to be stronger, this is not the first time gorilla's act violent towards visitors. There was an incident a few years ago where I lived where a gorilla escaped and completely destroyed a woman. Pretty much broke every bone in her body after the woman taunted the gorilla.

Vs just intelligence. Numbers =/= superior a single ant is worthless compared to a larger beetle. An army of ants is a superior force but each individual unit of the species is crap in comparison. Exactly the same really. How is it intelligent to be able to shoot things from far away exactly? If you got a sniper and shot someone in the head, have you outsmarted them? No because they have no idea you're out to get them, obviously. And without guns what does our intelligence do? Would we win over gorillas with a math battle or theories on how the universe began? Natural selection does not always favour the smartest animal look at how much our race has been dumbed down by stupid people having more kids than intelligent people. Because that's not a stupid and irresponsible thing to do at all. Also all this talk about our weapons and intelligence. How many of us actually know how to make a gun or find/make the materials to create one? It's not some thing we're all inherently smart enough to make we're just lucky some people figured it out, the rest of us don't know any better we merely use the tools smarter people in their field created. So yeah, really weak definition of superiority we've completely relied on prodigies to get this far whereas most animals can survive on their own just fine, they don't need abnormal levels of intelligence in their species to have a chance.

Any glass that can actually withstand a gorilla should be appropriate for a gorilla cage
