I'd rather a society full of people comfortable with who they are. If you wanna be buff that's awesome mate! I'm honestly very happy that you're seeking out your goals. But you shouldn't have to be buff to be confident. You just gotta be happy with who you are. Also, you shouldn't confuse confidence with smug. No woman wants a smug a***** who cares more about leg day than their anniversary. |

I don't mean to be rude....You said you had been dating your girlfriend for 3.5 years, since you were just graduating high school. High school, probably the time in people's lives where they feel most self-conscious and how the lowest self esteem. And at that point, you were able to not only talk to a girl, but actually end up dating them. And now 3.5 years later, just recently having ended a long term relationship with your high school sweet heart, you've jumped right back into dating and asked lots of women out and been rejected? Doesn't sound like someone lacking confidence to me... |

someone mentioned "wingman", well in some cases they can help you out, nonetheless, I witnessed a few cases when the chick was more into this "wingman" than she was supposed to be..... As for the OP.... I suggest you to move, nobody will judge you if you ask her number or something, do what you want and dont give a s*** about other's /which I mean dont give a s*** about the rejections/.....move on and try harder |

Dating in high school seems easier. I'm not completely shy, that i cannot speak to women or ask them out, but i've always been passive and melo. My natural personality is quite, so after the break up i like to try to do the things that im not good at. The problem for me isn't the courage to actual go up to a woman and talk to her, after the break up, i don't seem to have the confidence in my self anymore, when i speak to women the words that come out of my dont seem confident, i mumble some words, as you see why women reject me. |

To be more confident, you need to first stop caring about what other people think of you. Second, you must believe in yourself; regardless of what you say or do, you must believe that you're going in the right direction. That's all it takes. |
