They've never been forced by nature to adapt in a way which would lead to that. They are such efficient creatures that they were able to stay relatively the same for millions of years. Something lead to human ancestors walking upright. But walking upright meant they got too hot in the African climate. So they gradually lost their hair as an adaptation. Having less hair meant a cooler head which then allowed for the brain to grow larger without over heating. Obviously a larger brain meant we could become what we are today. yeah so amongst the thousand of thousand of species only the human race was forced to build spaceships.....Legit

We're able to build spaceship as a result of the qualities that we obtained through evolution, namely sentience and a high level of intelligence, which is something that other species don't have.

Without intelligence we have...exactly nothing really we'd have died long ago, much like birds would die without being able to fly, fish without the ability to swim etc etc
