This is the new topic title - Why do women and men test their partners and what kind of tests of do they perform?

I wasn't trying to be sexists, but women do test men alot more though. I cant speak for other men, but i'm easy to please-food, beer, sex and loyalty.

There are three tests i'm aware of that women use to test men-
1. Cheating test - girlfriend sends her hot friends to test to see her mans loyalty.
2. Control test/emotional response - girlfriend whines and complain more then usual and flirt with other guys trying to get a response out of him.
3. ?
1. Cheating test - Boyfriend sends his dope friends to test to see his girl loyalty and see if she's a lovely lady.

2. Control test/emotional response - Boyfriend whines and complain more than usual and flirt with other girls trying to get a response out of her

3. ? Actually I'll make my own. Guy have sex with other girls to prove that he can "Get some sugar walls" and he doesn't need the girl.

Why do guys do that? See that's generalizing. Look I'm a sweet heart but it's getting.. as Sky said annoying seeing these topics about what women act like.
2. when do guys whine on purpose?

Can you list an example of when a guy whines more than usual?

If you want an example from me, my ex, when the relationship started to get serious, she sooks more and calls me when im working saying her feet hurts, her stomach hurts, when i see her there nothing wrong with her.
Guys are human beings. Just like girls. There's a billion people documented in the planet earth. I'm pretty certain that out of a billion there's a nice 2% that can whine. I'm sure under special circumstances... guys(IF it's in them to do so) can whine. Specifically the type of guys who are attention seekers.

Are you really implying that only girls whine purposely when guys do not? It depends on person. Are you basing every girl off of your girlfriend? Maybe she wanted to see or hear you more. Maybe she wanted you to feel her feet and stomach. Maybe she's horny and wants to foreplay in those areas.

I don't understand how you can say guys don't whine on purpose.

I dated a guy in the past. All he ever did was whine. There's your proof right there.
That's his personality, maybe you've misinterpreted what i was saying.

I didn't say women complain and whine all the time, i said there are times where women test men, i find them usually complain on purpose trying to get a response.

And I feel the same way with men. There are times when men test women, I find they usually complain on purpose trying to get a response.

Do you see what we're trying to get at here? This topic shouldn't even be gendered.

My Dear Melancholy,

You need to work on your wording. Now it seems like you're saying all women test men to get a response. I don't even like taking test! Why would I give one?

You're suffering from PBS. Post Break-Up Syndrome.

To be stupidly honest, I notice women do it more often than men, and men just get angry and sulk more than women.

Well thats different then, because in your previous response you said you dated one guy, he complains and thats proof.

Then how should i word the topic? i didn't mean to be sexists, from my limited knowledge, i just wanted to know why both parties in a relationship tests each other.

It could be for multiple reasons. Distrust, suspicion, boredom, OCD, hatred, morbidness, masochism, whatever.

Maybe I've just met a lot of whiny men in my life then, KP, because it's 100% the complete opposite for me. My girlfriend is the angry sulky one. The men in my life are whinebags. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

My Dear Melancholy,

I make my boyfriend a pop quiz, 20 questions, and a written essay on my personality, favorite food, and random stuff.

He fails :T_T: :(

*whiny voice* "Why don't you love me?" "You're so mean to me." "Why don't you ever do this, this, or this?" "Maybe we just shouldn't be together then." "Wahhhh."

You know, just the usual stuff that people say trying to get a response out of you.

No to basing this off my ex, its also in ebooks, seduction books, youtube channels. Like i said, i didn't mean to be sexists, and yes to i think women purposely whine to get a reaction.

I never met any, so sorry, once again i dont mean to be sexists, i just never read anywhere that guys whine to test women.

In womens magazines cleo, there's articles saying "the test women do to men".

Women's magazines are naturally sexist and loaded with stupidity. I wouldn't rely on those for accurate, scientific information.

My Dear Melancholy,

YouTube has videos saying all men cheat, marriage is stupid, and highschool relationships can't last until adult hood.

Women magazines have unrealistic sized women (Photoshop or too skinny).

Not good sources compared to the real world. Did you know that according to Women Magazines men get bored of a relationship after 2 years which means he's guaranteed to cheat? I've been in a ongoing 5 year relationship. I guess he's cheating on me. Going deep inside of everything with a hole.

Not a good source at all.
