Pamput vs. the 21st Budokai finalists

Pamput was added into the 22nd Budokai solely to show how much Goku and co. have surpassed the human boundaries by having them casually reacted to all his feats, but I think he'd might be somewhat of a legit threat in the 21st Budokai as he treated being able to do fast flurries of punches (fast flurries didn't become the norm 'till around the 22nd Budokai) and destroying a wall (which Giran did as well) with an elbow smash as impressive feats. Not to mention Chun said he would be a "fearsomely skilled master" in the eyes of the ordinary which makes me think he represents a human at absolute peak condition.

How far does he got?

He clears it. All the 8 finalists should be above the 21st TB, it's just that Goku is so much more than Pamput.

Panput is only a master by ordinary levels. Goku, Krillin, Roshi and Nam at the very least have far surpassed ordinary levels.

He stops at Jackie Chun.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Do you rank Manwolf above Pamput?

LOL Someone thinks Yamcha could win against someone with a name.

He's not clearing, I know that for sure. I'd say he'd lose to Giran, maybe even against Yamcha.

The one who voted Yamcha.. Was me! If they don't put up any sort of fight then they're just filler. Yamcha from the 21st should be able to beat a generic filler character

21st Yamcha would be a generic filler for Goku too. You guys are underrating Pamput. Back in the 21st destroying a stadium wall with a single attack was implied to be a difficult feat, let alone with your elbow.

Maybe. It's kinda hard to say. Manwolf has something that suggests he's way beyond an ordinary level (his 30-dan in kenpo or whatever), but we don't know what's "Orindary" for DB. Roshi suggested Goku was still ordinary before he trained him, despite the fact Goku could crush boulders with his bare hands.

Manwolf said he had waited for the moment, indicating he has surpassed the Chun he saw at the 21st TB.

Kinda funny when you think about it. Manwolf knows Roshi can blow up the moon...when he starts getting outmatched his weapon of choice is a small knife. Small knife > Moon busting kamehamehas.

Well, ya know the old saying:

It's the man who makes the weapon.

Don't forget about Pamput's elaborate roll jump entrance onto the stadium. Not even BoDB Krillin could perfectly execute a jump like that. Granted, he covered much more distance than Pamput when jumping from his boat to Roshi's Island.

Ranfan was knocked unconscious after one karate chop to the back from Nam. But you can see from her performance earlier in the fight that her attacks were capable of hurting him. Furthermore, she actually dodged an attack from a serious Nam who admitted that he would be going all out. She's impressive enough for a regular human, though still clearly the weakest fighter at the finals.

Assuming Pamput isn't distracted by Ranfan's sensual wiles or he's able to formulate a strategy like the one used by Nam to beat her, he should take this fight with little difficulty.

Bacterian's main weapon is his horrible stench. It can be dangerous to anyone with a nose. Then again, Bacterian was mostly treated as a comical villain. It only took a single kick from Krillin to leave him struggling to get back up. But that same Krillin was pressuring Jackie Chun somewhat. He managed to destroy the safety barrier with an out of control headbutt, albeit he was in pain afterwards. Do you think Pamput would be unaffected if he tried headbutting that same barrier? Probably not.

Getting back to the issue with Bacterian, we have to assume that Pamput will somehow find a way around his opponent's gimmick. Maybe he can use some of the wrappings from his hands to plug up his nostrils so the noxious stink doesn't get to him. I don't consider Pamput to be on par with 21st Chun, Goku, or Krillin so he would have to use a bit more effort to defeat Bacterian.

Yamcha wasn't nearly as strong as Jackie Chun or any of the Turtle students, but he was launching BoDB Goku (hungry) through multiple outcrop pillars when he was still a desert bandit. Try comparing Yamcha's feat to Pamput's...

Spoiler: click to toggle

Honestly, I think 21st Yamcha might be capable enough to bring down Pamput. He has discipline and technique, in spite of his terrible luck throughout the series. It may not be an easy fight, especially since this version of Yamcha has no usage of ki yet, but his Wolf Fang Fist should give him the advantage.

You can't compare Yamcha's feat with Pamput's.

1. Those are tree columns which are softer and thinner than a solid brick wall

2. Yamcha knocked Goku threw it which alters the gravity and force of the hits making it much easier to pull off than doing it with your bare hands like Pamput did.
