Age isn't something that really means a lot to me. It really depends at what age the two get together at.

My parents are a considerable amount apart, around 10 years, so you can assume my limit is around there. Though I won't be getting into a relationship anytime soon and I'm not keen on romantic relationships in the first place, so who knows if a limit will ever come into play.

Once both parties are legal to consent, I don't think love has an age limit. If two people are in the same mindspace in maturity, have similar interests, support each other and are attracted to each other, why should their age invalidate that? There may be insincere reasons to be in a romantic relationship, but those can be present in ANY relationship.

My parents are 7 years apart. My grandparents are like... 13 years apart. So I probably find a decent gap more acceptable than the "average" person.

Also, I believe that as you both get older, the gap seems to matter less and less.

That being said though, obviously I don't think it's OK for an 18 year old to date a 10 year old... and that the youngest person in the relationship should be of decent age/maturity before considering such a relationship.
I agree with what you said, especially the part about the youngest age has to be at least 18 years of age.

When I have a daughter, I'm going to allow her to think for herself, so she could make the best choices.

My grand parents had a 15 year gap, but back then was different though.

my girlfriend got really pissy with me last week for something so trivial and it ruined our 10th year anniversary. i expected better from a 20-year old

As the title suggests, what is the youngest you'll date a person under your age and vice-versa?

For me it's 4 years at a minimum, and 3-4 at maximum.
At this point, 3 years. 26 and older basically.
That also scales with my age. The 3 runs with me.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Hmm...

I'm 21 now so, I guess 3 years below me depending on maturity.
Older I'm not too keen on wouldn't want to get with somebody who's had lots of job experience etc would just feel like they'd look down on me even if they understood my condition.

So as for older, probably only within a year since I still have some time before not having a job is questionable

It's just a gap...half decade. Honest. I'm capable of work.
Don't leave me! >_<

As for acceptability I think age group matters more than the number really.
Child + old is disgusting
Young(over legal age) + old is a bit creepy
Young + child can be acceptable
Middle aged + young can be iffy
Middle aged + old is fine but sometimes questionable...like if the old person happens to be extremely rich

Same age group there's no problem with.
