though with the reputation North Korea has had over the past few years, people will still laugh at him.
And what do victims of bullying do when they've finally had enough?

Considering the control he has over his people it's right to think of it that way if he simply decides screw it lets f***ing attack it would happen, doesn't matter if it would be suicide for them to do it they'd do serious damage and would go through with it.

What would be gained is leaving a huge mark on wherever they attacked, most likely South Korea.

They could annihilate Seoul in one go with those artillery cannons, that would be enough to shake the world and have people talking about North Korea for decades/centuries.

There's no use in looking at it like they're always going to care about personal safety and their own lives.
I acknowledge that, but again, what are the chances of Un actually doing that? There's no point in attacking in order for people to take North Korea seriously, because once they do, North Korea wont be around for very long. If they throw this nuclear weapon around now, they can be taken seriously and reap the potential benefits from that. Attacking only achieves what they could achieve by simply informing others about their nuclear weapon. It all depends on what Un's intentions are and, considering that North Korea hasn't done anything in decades, it's pretty fair to say that he doesn't simply want North Korea to leave a mark on history.

Unlike many of you who makes fun of the u.s

People like Ollie and other people who thinks the u.s should not be in power any more.

I disagree, the u.s needs to be strong and they need to show the world they are the big brother.

If history has taught us anything,

World War 1 - America didn't wan't to intervene.
World War 2 - America didn't wan't to intervene because of the great depression, the people felt this war has nothing to with America.

Consequences from the good and bad, Hitler and Germany almost took over the war.

Because of World War 2 and the allies ill prepared, America and the UK was forced to join with another dictator who was almost as evil Hitler - Stalin.

After the victory of World War 2, the U.S had to deal with Japan, and then later watch communism spread like wild fire through Asia.

China thinks Taiwan belongs to them, and North Korea will invade the South if the U.S isn't there.

People hate the u.s because they think they are the big bullies, maybe they are, but the free world needs them.

I don't know about you, but i don't want to live under a communist regime.

It's kind of impossible to tell what Un want's he's not been in charge for very long Kim Jong Il only died in 2011. They're devoted to him and he's not some wise old leader if he decided in a childish rampage to get them to attack they would, he's easily capable of that.

Especially if Katy Perry calls him ugly he'd definitely start a war then.(The Interview joke)

North Korea can't be so stupid. This tiny little piece of crap you can barely see on a worldwide map, is threatening one of the most powerful countries in modern history? I doubt it.

They're building nuclear weapons. So what? Russia has done the same, same with the USA, several times. But I guess the USA likes building weapons of mass destruction, or just destruction in general. "Let's slaughter this, let's slaughter that. For no reason whatsoever, let's just kill, smash, murder and crush!"

Well, at least I live in Spain, World Wars never affect us for some reason.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

That's because of civil wars keeping you occupied during that time period. You're going to get dragged into one if it comes up now though, due to being a member of the EU and NATO.

As for the topic, the fat man has had nukes for quite some time, what he lacks is an efficient delivery system and the capacity to not be glassed if he tries it. What's problematic is him giving it to terrorists or countries who can transport it effectively.

America needs to secure its most important secrets. If the Russians didn't steal our nuclear weapons, all this wouldn't be happening with nuclear weapons.
