My first reaction was, huh? He has it in him to make a good version of this. I like Tim Burton and want to see more of his movies. But I'm also tired of the Tim Burton Disney lovefest. Not a total dig, I think they are alright. Another Depp role might put me over the edge though. I guess I see them as becoming predictable. |

Mr. Burton is amazing at what he does. Even the movies that suck have a lot of atmosphere and unique styles. He kinda ruined Alice on Wonderland, but I'm pretty sure no one cared about that movie enough to call it bad. With Dumbo, it's another story completely. Is there really someone who liked the original Dumbo? |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

I thought the original Dumbo was pretty good. It represents the good old classic Disney movies. |

Ahhhhhh I didn't know about this! I find this news really exciting though, I love Tim Burton and I love Dumbo. I wonder how he is going to go around the elephant situation lmao. I hope he does a tribute to this Dumbo scene. I remember watching it as a kid and finding it so trippy and also scary in a weird, bizarre way. |

I hope they use as much real elephant as possible and don't CGI it the whole time. The Dumbo drunk scene use to freak me out as a kid. Seeing that done Tim Burton style would be something else for sure. |

Honestly, I'm not sure about this. How is the dialogue going to be executed efficiently with live-action animals? Edited by SuperSaiyan1993, Mar 30 2015, 05:19 PM.

Maybe something like Babe. Perhaps even Babe II: Pig in a City? I mention the sequel so as not to confuse with the John Goodman led Biopic of a similar name. Although both characters do indeed get wasted.
