Since Gohan's now mystic, does that it mean he no longer has rage boosts?

As we all know, Gohan's always had extraordinary hidden powers were heavily linked to his emotions and I attribute that to his docile nature (the same case with Oob) though he's gotten better at controlling it due to training. However, the power up from Elder Kai not only unleashed all of his potential to the surface it changed him mentally to the point where Piccolo could hardly recognize him.

Did he lose the rage boost for good?

*Dormant Power* since Vegeta specifically got his limits pushed beyond as well but as evidenced recently he regained some Dormant Power and released it through a rage boost. Gohan should be no different, in fact, he's planned to go SSJ which implies his Dormant Power either reset, or he needs it to acquire his former Ultimate levels of strength.

The mystic power up was a way to make Gohan's hidden power more easily accessible to Gohan.Yes,Gohan's rage also made it possible to access is hidden power, but, you have to understand that Gohan in the buu saga is a lot more mature and older than when he was in the cell arc/freiza arc.

So due to Gohan being more mature and older in buu saga than he was in the previous two sagas,he couldn't get easily angry like he did back in the cell saga and freiza saga. It's not that buu saga Gohan can not get angry, he can, but, the barrier to control his rage has increased. Remember, as we grow older and more mature we don't give into rage/anger that easily. This was the problem that Gohan was facing in buu saga.

So, mystic power up was a way to draw out all that hidden power and make it accessible on the fly to Gohan.

As for whether he loses his rage boost its upto Akira Toriyama.

That's what I assumed. His "dormant" power was what he unleashed when he was angry, the mystic ritual just brought it all out.

His rage awakened the hidden powers within him.

Firstly it was Guru who tried to unlock Gohan's true potential and he did well too but couldn't unleash all of it.
Next the Old Kai made him Mystic Gohan by unloking even more of his powers. If Old Kai unlocked all of it, then maybe not but still I think he has much more inside him.
For example take Vegeta, He could barely touch Beerus at first but when Bulma got slapped, he went mad and somehow became stronger than even ssj3 Goku. Who would have thought it was possible?
The true power of a Saiyan is difficult to estimate. When you think you have seen it all, something even more amazing happens.
