Goku was able to kick his sons asses at the same time.
Vegeta could not do it at the same time.

It depends, Some said goku was heavily above Vegeta, yet in the shadow dragon arc Vegeta somehow inherited the power of beby thus he was stronger than goku ssj4 in his ssj2. Nonetheless Goku got the TOei Hax and somehow was even stronger than ssj2 vegeta who was stronger than ssj4 beby arc goku in his kid base form. Silly but true.

In the shadow dragon arc, their ssj4 was unbalanced, especially when goku surprassed his limits.

No, Goku is miles above Vegeta up until the end of the series when Vegeta gets SSJ4. Because the transformation is potential based, they are the same power. They have the same potential, but Vegeta couldn't keep up with Goku's training.

I'm in the same boat as those who say Goku>>Vegeta in all aspects until SSJ4, when I see them becoming even. Facoring in the possibility that Vegeta kept his Baby power up, it does more to put him above all the secondary characters but not above Goku.

So Goku>>Vegeta>>>other Z Fighters.

I think that much stronger because when they fused as super saiyan 4, they had to have the exact same power levels and I didn't se any of them increase or decrease their power levels. While Goku was hurt, Vegeta was fresh, so Goku must have more power than him. Same applies to their base powers too.

goku was powered up beyond his limits at that time.
