Google	Gohan can give his pop a decent fight here due to not being far at all behind him power wise, but you have to remember Goku trained his son for a year, he knows all that he is capable of plus he has an additional 7 years of experience. Goku takes Gohan's best moves then shows him how to do them properly. Goku outlasts his son after a good long fight IMO
