I doubt Toriyama thinks about all of that when he's writing the fights, especially since other characters have tanked attacks in those same pressure points. Such as Initial Perfect Cell tanking a kick to the neck by Grade 2 Vegeta.

Nam's entire fighting style is hitting people's pressure points and Beerus was even shown doing similar attacks (like when he knocked out Lazuli). Also, Cell purposely took Vegeta's kick to f*** with his psyche. Nam was completely off-guard.

I know, I know it's easy to blame it on gag, but that's what it is. Agree to disagree on the farmer's BP. Cell did purposely hold back from killing him, and it did leave Mr. Satan groggy in pain and bleeding (at least in the anime) even though that was played for laughs too.

The only gag with it is him surviving. Well yeah, but I believe there are more instances of gag with him in the Boo Saga. Like wasn't he near an explosion from one of Kid Boo's blasts and yet barely got scratched? I actually think he's just a gag character in fights, but a serious character outside of them. And also, I believe the Boo Saga has a decent amount of gag in it as a whole.
