Chromo Favourite Manga Has to be Naruto, only one better than Dragonball!	Alright, so a big debate on youtube seems to be who'd win in a fight between the blue blur and Goku. First off, as much as I love sonic, I don't think this is an even matchup. If we consider that Goku can move at like 2.5 times the speed of light, and Sonic's speed has never actually been recorded, but one time in what are no nonsense answers in a SEGA Q and A were SEGA impersonated Sonic, "Sonic" stated he could "instantly accelerate to the speed of sound" meaning that perhaps if given time he could move at great amounts. Also, he does sometimes have "a light speed dash." It should also be noted that Sonic ALWAYS holds back in combat. Does anyone reckon Sonic has a chance? I almost forgot, super transformations are allowed in such a fight. Also, Sonic once beat a god in his base form, and a 7 chaos emerald powered Gizoid (a weapon of the same calibre as Shadow, meaning it's power equates to that of Shadow with 7 chaos emeralds, not to mention the gizoid had copied all of Sonic and friends fighting techniques making Sonic at a disadvantage even more) WHILST IN BASE FORM. And for the sake of the argument, Archie Sonic stats can be included if they make you feel better. EDIT; I just remembered that in Sonic Chronicles: the Dark Brotherhood Omega calculated that Sonic's speed keeps increasing and at the rate it keeps increasing it will equal the speed of light, and Sonic replied by stating that he could already run faster than the speed of light. Google Chrome	Goku has not shown FTL capabilities for one, but it hardly matters seeing how broken Sonic is to the point where Sonic can stand right next to a black hole in base form and be unaffected. Sonic can take all of DBZ at the same time without any trouble if you include Archie feats

Game Sonic is, as lazerbem said, a broken character. I dispise how stupidly powerful they make Sonic in some incarnations. Is it even that necessary? It's not like making him more powerful than Mario will make him more popular. He's going downhill and he is near extinction.

I have my only little theory as to why this is, and that theory is the Chaos Emeralds grant the user the necessary amount of energy to defeat one's opponent. Assuming that is the case, it's a mater of Goku outlasting Super Sonic, which I think is entirely possible given his tenacity and skill. Archie Sonic has feats that make some Marvel and DC characters cringe. Seriously, Archie Super Sonic was able to tangle with a nigh Omnipotent god named Enerjak. A mere fraction of Enerjak's power was utilized by a character named Mogul to destroy MILLIONS OF MULTIVERSES!! Goku can't even destroy a galaxy.

He's a gag character....I think? He shadow boxed his own shadow and said it's because he's faster than light and can also talk to himself by speeding back and forth between two telephones. What do you think? As for SEGA Sonic, well, he did survive a black hole and fought someone who exists omnitemporally.
