You'd be better off saying the sailor moon anime series happened in the GT timeline than BOG. @lazerbem After Beerus beats him Goku says "I only know one way to get that strong again, I'd have to fuse with Vegeta and even then we still might not be a match." Maybe not the same as no chance but Goku feels that Potara+ SSJ3 still isn't a victory against Beerus to the point he doesn't even try to go look for the potara because the negatives out weight the positives. @+ Ssj3vegito96 Goku is comparing Vegito to the amount of power Beerus used on him. If he was counting on Beerus being a lot stronger in his estimate he would have mentioned it. @FutureSaiyan Goku said MSSJ Gotenks could beat Fat Buu which was most likely true. He also said Gotenks could beat Buu and when both Gotenks and Buu powered up with Buu going Super and Gotenks going SSJ3 the battle still came out like Goku predicted. Buu can't handle Gotenks on his own.

Google Chrome	It's still not an absolute. That's my point. There's a world of difference between no chance and outmatched. For example, Mecha-Freeza was confident in taking SSJ Goku, but no one will have him as a ton stronger because he was only somewhat sure

And we'll still see that Birusu was still heavily suppressed.

Yeah, it's kind of like how you put 50% Freeza compared to Kaioken x20 Goku? Do you have him at a stomping gap because Goku has no chance at all? Or is there a lesser gap there? And then you can figure out Freeza's 100% from there.

The roles might be slightly reversed here, with SSJ4 Goku being the aggressor. But I still see Goku running out of power before the battle ends. It only took a few episodes for his power to drain against Baby, and I still believe that would be a factor here.

I don't remember them saying that @greatraditzman12 toriyama pulled it out of his a* in that interview. He contradicted his intent with whis saying that beerus could destroy the solar system in an instant. Destroying a solar system may be impressive but can't even compare to destroying a galaxy and toriyama is talking about 1/5th of the universe.
