DBXV Balanced?

Are characters from DBZ balanced in this game? I seen to feel they copied the custom character stats for each race being different, and i think they even some stronger than others for example:

yesterday I was playing against my sister, she was Nappa I was tien, and despite clearly controlling the manority of the battle she still had half a bar of health and ko'd me. this happened on multiple occasions and shifted depending on the characters we chose, which makes for unbalanced play in my opinion.

Nope. It's not balanced. The characters are as strong as they're supposed to be do some are actually stronger than others. So don't ever use Yamaha lol

I was watching Game Grumps and one of them used Whis while the other used a Freeza grunt. Needless to say the Freeza soldier almost died after one combo, twas' hilarious.

I really hate that feature. Sure, it makes more sense within the game's context, but by that logic, Gohan should snap Goku like matchwood. Seriously, I hated that in BT and RB and I hate it now. There's no reason at all to horribly handicap certain characters just because it makes sense within story context.

I wanna use Appule or the Freeza Soldier to wreck the anorexic cat, not get horribly murked in a single combo.

And to those wondering, I played the game at a friend's, so yeah

Lazer, you'll love one of the things that happens in the Cell Saga.

Just finished the Boo Saga, and I'm finding myself transforming into SSJ and spamming my Ultimate a lot. Mostly against enemies who have Super Armour, because it's the only thing that consistently gets through.

I like it a lot. LOL

Also just a question do real characters have a fixed level already or do you have to/can you level them up to?

All the available characters level up alongside your custom character, iirc, so if your character is Level 25, every other character you can choose will be level 25.

Thank god for that. I'd have pulled my hair out if you had to level everyone individually like a certain other game.

And yes, I know Hercule goes Hulkamania in the Cell Saga. It's funny, but it makes me wonder what are Demigra's priorities. Why not just control Vegeta or Piccolo?

the characters are balanced when it comes to online and offline battles but the story battles are ridiculously unbalanced. just about every enemy has super armor which forces you to stop doing combos in their entirety and just spam ultimates.

the parallel quests that have you going up against 3 enemies at once by yourself are also a tad bit nonsense. this is the reason why unlocking ssj4 goku is impossible for me as of now.

Most of my "vs Super Armour" fights consist of a bunch of grabs and charged melee attacks.

It's a silly mechanic that has no place in a decent fighting game... ESPECIALLY not when it's simply passive.

I thought it was for offline fights, too.

I haven't really tired it yet. Can anyone tell me whether that's true?

I think the problem here is that a lot of people are looking at this as a fighting game, when it appears to be, first and foremost, and RPG. An action-oriented one, with combos and the like, but still, mostly an RPG. One that's comparable to games like Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Divinity 2.

Granted, I haven't played it yet, but that's the feeling I'm getting from it.

I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

RPG bosses with Super Armor tend to be slow and not able to run your a*** down when you try to regroup.

No, it's very unbalanced which is shame coming from Dimps. This is the kind of s*** I'd expect from Spike but Dimps should know better.

What? Budokai 3 was horribly unbalanced as well. Giving Super Yi Xing Long max Ki at the beginning of the match certainly isn't fair to characters who start with 3 bars.
