I wanted to ask the same question, but you did it b4 me. I've come across anime reviews that classify this show together with DN. Also heard the lead guy is quite similar to Light, a character with gray shades. Hoping for seasoned anime fans to give their opinions.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	I liked it a lot I just didn't care for the character designs. There's this badass soldier guy who beats everyone up and he's just a skinny dude like the rest of the guys, like seriously I'm not sure how their arms function they look like a light cough would snap them. Oh and mecha I hate mecha anime but still enjoyed it, it's not super heavy on the mecha though. Beyond that it was great, I'll probably never watch it again kind of great but I typically only rewatch things that blow me away. I'd give it a 7/10. Maybe an extra .5 'cause booooobs(only once or twice tho) Has a lot of cool twists and turns in it and Lelouch is badass, definitely in the gray zone morally characters like that are always awesome.

I'll watch it for sure after I finish DB Kai ( this new buu saga ) I also don't like mecha animes. And I don't mind the characters designs ( unless is one piece crap ) A lot of animes could've been better , deadman wonderland come to mind ...

The series is more about the tactics people employ to win with their units than straight up Gundam style 1v1 battles constantly. Plus the Geass powers.

Code Grass is better than I've expected. The mecha stuff is awesome. But I only watched 11 episodes ( I know , I'm slow as my nickname but I'm addicted to ygopro crap ) and I hope to finish it in the next 2 weeks. Lelouch is interesting , it looks like it's not invincible at all , and CC ( the green hair girl ) always saved his butt lol. Hard to choose between Kallen and CC , they're both cute ( oh , this love for anime girls sometimes )
