Hopefully the gameplay is better than every other DBZ game that has yet to get it even close to right. ...if only the Sprites weren't so incredibly poor... |

If it's good, I'll find a 3DS so I can play it. |

It looks ok, but keep in mind none of the other DBZ 3DS games have left Japan, so I'm not sure if this will. |

Are they porting the Butouden games from the SNES or is this a completely new Butouden game? Seems weird that they would revive an idle series from 20+ years ago. EDIT: NVM, just checked it. I guess this is okay. I was indifferent about the Butouden games on the SNES so maybe they'll improve on it. Edited by Yusuke, Feb 20 2015, 02:22 AM.

There have been Butoden games since the SNES: Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden (SNES, 1993) Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 2 (SNES, 1993) Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 3 (SNES, 1994) Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22 (PS1, 1995) Dragon Ball Z Shin Butoden (Saturn, 1995) Dragon Ball GT Final Bout (PS1, 1997) Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butoden (DS, 2011) Some people don't consider UB22 and GT:FB part of the Butoden series, but they really are. They have the same basic combat engine, and they're all developed by Tose. |

Aha, so there was already a thread on this. Awesome! Well guys, today is the day the demo was released on the 3DS. We have the launch date sometime mid October. I can't recall exactly, but I think it was October 13th. I really like this game and I definitely will be getting it!

While I'm totally peeved that SSGSS Vegeta is an assist character, the demo is definitely engaging enough for me to want to buy the full game!

Where did you see that information at?! That's not fair! ![]() I must admit that the game is really fun. Reminds me of the days when I smashed on Supersonic Warriors on my GBA!

I'm having fun with it so far but I wish the character roster were bigger. Ultimate Butoden had a ton more characters, including my usual main character Tien. Also bummed there's no online. But the return to 2D sprites and the localization are welcome changes in a big way. |

Famicommander, you're in luck dude! They just announced that we'll be getting an online multiplayer mode alongside some other modes!!!!! I got mine yesterday, but haven't had much time to play yet. I'll be smashing on it pretty soon. Let's hope they add some free DLC in the future with more playable character.s I love the game a lot! |

There are quite a few cool assists that will be added into the game. Japan will get them first, of course. Let's hope Bandia takes care of North America for once. I want in on the cool s***!
