Superman VS Hulk; Not comic-book versions

Let's face it. For some of us Superman VS Goku is the battle of the century, but in the world of big comic book match-ups, none is as iconic as this one. But we are not choosing comic book versions since both characters have a big history full of inconsistencies and alternative realities.

Round 1: Superman (Man of Steel) VS Hulk (Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Avengers)

I'm letting Christopher Reeve out of this thread because the man did some impressive things back in the day, unlike his more recent version of the Zack Snyder movie. He's against the Hulk from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all the Hulk's feats from the movies he's appeared in are combined in one.

Round 2: Superman (DCAU) VS Hulk (Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes)

The two characters at their best from their best animated shows.

Round 3: Superman (Superman: Doomsday) VS Hulk (Planet Hulk movie)

This is where both characters are at their peak at their best animated movies. If you haven't seen them, go now, they're pretty good.
But now, let's argue.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Round 1:

Christopher Reeve couldn't take the Avengers Hulk. He can barely even fight and was totally outmatched by three Kryptonians and when he gave up his powers he got beat up by some random fat guy. Hulk stomps.

Round 2: Hulk wins again. Whilst this version of Superman is superior to Christopher Reeves, he's still fairly wimpy compared to Hulk. I think he would have even struggled with 60s comic book Hulk and that version was weak sauce.

Round 3: My gut says Hulk again. Hulk is way smarter than Doomsday who gave Superman a really bad time. Plus he has better regenerative powers and apparently gains more power the longer he fights?

The only Supermen who can beat Hulk in my opinion are the over powered comic book versions of yesteryear.

The movie version of Superman used here is the Man of Steel version, not Crhistopher's.

Round one: I think movie Hulk takes thing because he has more control and experience over his powers. By the final fight in the Avengers, we know Banner has at least mild control over the Hulk at this point. He's been transforming for some time now, and fought several types of super villians. MOS Superman, on the other hand, is still adjusting to his powers and growing into becoming a hero.

Round Two: I give this to Animated Superman. That show had a long run, including the JL cartoon. So we saw Superman use a wide range of powers and overcome numerous obstacles. Much of this on his own. I dont know if the same can be said about Animated Hulk. Superman is a far more capable character here.

Round Three: WWH wins. WWH seems to be way stronger than the animated Doomsday. I see him crushing Superman in this one.

Well, in short, we have this:

Didn't Avengers Assemble Hulk lift half of Manhattan? That feat dwarfs whatever Supermen above done.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Round 1 I'd say Superman takes it, Hulk is too dumb and impulsive and his durability doesn't seem that excellent he was having a hard time when all those aliens were shooting at him. Meanwhile Superman's getting hit by thrown trains and fighting in an atmosphere that weakens him.
He also resists an extremely powerful gravity ray or whatever it was.

I think Superman takes it here in all categories. Well maybe not strength, either Superman is stronger or they're equal depends on how heavy those flying alien things are compared to an oil rig.

He also has great skill with his eye beams if he made them thin enough he could probably do some serious damage and Hulk can't do anything if he goes to refuel in space.

Round 2 I don't know enough about this Hulk to compare.

Round 3 I think this goes to Superman I don't remember Hulk doing anything all that impressive.
I think Hulk might hold the advantage for a while but once Superman goes all out he wins.

Just pointing out that vid you posted for Hulk is dwarfed by that version's feat.

That's why I don't choose it. Either it's too strong against the weaker Supermen or too weak against the strongest Supermen. There's no equal for that particular Hulk.
