Mystique can carry basic weapons in this fight, like blades, assault rifles and grenades, but no deus ex tech weapons that would automatically melt Clayface.

Edit: Fight takes place in an abandoned factory. But can spill out into the crowded streets, letting both of them use their shapeshifting and stealth maneuvers.

How can Mystique even hurt him? Unless this is the crappy Clayface who can only shapeshift and isn't actually a giant mud monster with death touch

This is suppose to be Matt Hagen Clayface. He's the incarnation I was most familiar with. I knew he was a giant mud man but death touch is new to me. Sorry if this isn't the current version.

As for Mystique, she can always use her environment or exploit the time for his potion to run out. A grenade to the face can at least slow him down.

Basil Karlo is the most famous Clayface to my knowledge, he was a giant mud monster, but he had no time limit and a poisonous touch capable of turning people to protoplasm. His only weakness was cold.

Hagen was like a s***ty version of Karlo and with him, yeah, Mystique stands a chance.
