This should go here right?

So we have gaps that give us a good idea of how the fight should go. For example, if fighter A is 2x fighter B, he can one shot him, move so fast B can't even see him, etc. does this apply to other versus as well? Is this something that has to do with ki? For example, a character from another series who doesn't use ki. Do dbz gaps still apply?

No

For example on dbz you could be less than 2x stronger than your opponent and completely blitz them were in other fictions you need to be 10x or 100 difference to blitz

Indeed. For example, Venom is usually written as having 12 ton strength. With DBZ logic, he should really be capable of stomping Spider-Man. Yet as time goes on, Spider-Man has put up better fights than that, even managing to force Venom to retreat after beating his face in

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah linear scaling is like exclusive to DB/DBZ/GT.

In some series there's speedsters who can barely lift a person but can run over 100mph and others people who can bench press a mountain but would be outrun by a teenage boy.

If a DBZ character is superior to someone in speed they might not even be close in terms of physical strength or destructive force.

Naruto is a good example Zabuza was a match for Kakashi, a Jounin but two lowly Genin could hurt him even though besides school kids Genin is the piss weak rank of ninja. He was above them in all categories but intelligence/instinct. Only example that comes to mind but Naruto is full of them.

Yeah, KK got it down more or less. Unlike DBZ, some fictions don't have all of their physical attributes scale when they vaguely increase power. Thus you have some odd characters. Like Flash for example where he's not much of a lifter whatsoever, but he can so far beyond the speed of light it's not even funny. Or Hulk where (in some incarnations) he's so strong he can punch out a meteor or asteroid 2x the size of Earth but is pretty slow. Things of that nature.

Edit: I'm groggy and don't know if I had anything to drink before going to bed. I don't know where I'm going with this...

Actually what I'm asking is if it applies to dbz characters fighting characters from other series. Let's say, a dbz character is a bit slower than say some comic book character, does that mean the comic book character is a lot faster than the dbz characters like how it works in dbz?

Like... (let me think of some examples)

Deathstroke being so much slower than Flash, but still managing to trip him? Compared to how in DBZ if you're a tiny bit faster than someone you cannot even react to them? I guess it would depend on the characters. If Deathstroke can trip Flash (which makes no sense when you think about how Flash perceives time slown down, he should've been able to avoid the foot.) I'd imagine he can be capable of tripping a Z-Fighter? Likewise, a character that shows he cannot react or even see someone massively faster than them is going to have the same issue with a Z-Fighter.
