Dope a*** chapter man! I swear that's all I can say man, the talking and visualizations were excellent man. Uub a*** a beast, literally lol, I loving how you introducing this power of Kid Buu within him. Griever, my favorite Ancient God btw , that guy has issues and that's good on my book given his behavior. And Vegeta always think he's the strongest (top 4 though as I see) but he better watch out, I don't think the others are currently working together. Griever didn't give a f***, Uub being powered by evil via Kid Buu definitely don't give a f***, Vegeta's smug XD , and Zueva's all ease with the current situation.
I definitely gotta see the next one now lol.
10/10 man. Good s***.
Thanks man, I figured if I took my time with this one instead of writing it all out in one go like I usually do, then it was bound to have a better impact on my readers. And it seems I wasn't wrong! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah, it's amazing how all four are there to fight too. We got... an Ancient God, a being of evil that has existed since the dawn of time, the strongest and most smug Saiyan warrior to have ever existed, and a psychopath magic user whom is under the control of another psychopath magic user. I think seeing who the victor of this match will be intense, and I don't expect any one of these guys to give in easily. Boo-Oob is more or less primal in nature which I imagine prevents him from feeling pain, Griever is an Ancient God that was tasked to go against Ultimecia, Vegeta is stubborn and prideful to a fault, and Zueva seems to take mortal wounds with a grain of salt.
I imagine the people of otherworld would be a little off-put by two pairs of legs walking about asking questions and for directions lol.
XD nah I meant mentally that his confident self is worthless compared to the currently top 4 strongest beings in the universe.
Oooooh, yeah I guess that would make more sense lol.
I would imagine instead of feeling worthless he's instead trying to figure out how Vegeta got that transformation so that he himself could achieve it...perhaps by normal means rather than magic...
Dope chapter indeed, man. 10/10. I was definitely able to visualize all the action perfectly, and I had the feeling of not wanting the chapter to end. This chapter felt really TV show-like, which is good.
I dug all the back and forth action, along with the awesome art of Griever and the Lionheart visual.
Griever surfacing was awesome, but I'm truly enjoying the Boo-Oob animal you have going on. Now that was my s***. I can't wait to see him in action, especially alongside Griever.

10/10.
Glad you liked it man, also sorry for not responding until now. Had school yesterday and spent a long time writing the next chapter for a good chunk of time at school. I then came home and just relaxed.
I too am digging the Boo-Oob beast, I have a few ideas in mind for him combat wise. I'm going to try to make this next chapter bonkers with what goes on fight-wise.
Chapter 9. Destructive Balance Delayed by a Mysterious Newcomer; As You Command Operator
=Deep Space: Untold Galaxies Away=
"Lord Beerus, perhaps we should wait some time. You've rested for sixty four years, we can wait some time before you begin your duties once again." An aqua skinned, white haired man in a purple onesie with a shoulder guard coloured white, black and gold said. Holding his staff as they blasted across the universe at speeds so fast that the speed of light seemed to be snail's pace. The being he was speaking to was a purple cat with what appeared to be a revisionist version of Egyptian wear.
"I plan on heading to wherever that large concentration of power currently is, four beings that seem to have suddenly grasped power to break into the realm of Gods. That doesn't just happen out of nowhere Whis, I might finally have fun!" The one known as Beerus shouted in near glee as the outline of a figure stood in front of them, obscured by a bright flash of light. From what they could tell the being was well-built and had rather long hair. But that was about as much as they could see, he didn't have a readable energy signal to either of them however.
"I'm going to have to ask you to stop what you're doing, turn back, and continue your nap." Beerus stopped as did Whis, perturbed at the enlightened one's sudden demand.
"Do you think you have any domain over the God of Destruction?" Beerus said in an arrogant manner, raising his head at an angle to where the being would see 'neath his chin.
"I'm going to have to ask you to stop what you're doing, turn back, and continue your nap." The being spoke again, its tone still the same neutral it was before.
"If you won't move out of our way willingly, then I will force you to move!" Beerus said as he moved forward in a burst of his top speed, however, in that split second that Beerus blinked, he had returned to Whis' side as if nothing had happened.
"I'm going to have to ask you to stop what you're doing, turn back, and continue your nap." Beerus looked around as if some joke was being played on him, smiling as he raised an arm above him, a gigantic ball of energy forming.
"If you won't move out of our way willingly, then I will force you to move!" Beerus said as he moved his arm forward in a burst of his top speed, sending the ball of energy towards the figure at an incalculable speed... but to Beerus' horror, the gigantic ball of energy was simply repelled straight back at him. Closing his eyes as he braced... he opened his eyes. Still right next to Whis... as if nothing had happened.
"I'm going to have to ask you to stop what you're doing, turn back, and continue your nap." The being spoke again, its tone still the same neutral it was before. However, this time it nodded towards him.
And from the great black nothingness of space came waves of fire rising from the bottom, the backdrop of black dotted with white turning black and bleeding, every star a wound, oozing out its life essence, forming into a giant burning effigy of Beerus made of the life source of the universe. The walls of the universe cracked splitting visibly, then, From the distant ends came two large, garguantuan, reality bending hands that ripped apart the seams, wide open. Revealing A head with two horns, entirely black eyes except for a sliver of red near the center. The skin an ashy blue, its nose mostly lopped and the fleshy wings. Out came the hands as it grabbed the effigy, the effigy turning physical. The real Beerus being left a hollow shell as his conscious was transferred to this gigantic version of himself, powerless under the being's grasp. Its gaping mouth opening as its hand brought forth the helpless Beerus. Attempting to yell, but the sound only coming out in his mind not his mouth. The first few chomps were the worse, but in relativity they were the least painful, which says alot as Beerus had been diced to bits.
Yet he was still forced to be alive, now his conscious active in each and every single bit. The poison in the saliva of the being seeping in and causing burns unimaginable, but the pain being pleasurable in a sick twist. Then forced into his mind as his bits began to burn in the diseased acid bowl of his stomach were the recollection of his entire life as his multiple consciouses each on cue fired off the memories one by one. Then once done, reformed back together into one Beerus. He was now placed in a devilish theater, where amalgamations of tortured souls moaned in agony through the corners of Beerus' eyes but would disappear when focused on. Constant, impossible to make-out whispering, with the occasional mention of Beerus being the only discernable word began to creep into the recesses of Beerus' mind as the film began to roll. The film having a creepy scanline filter and in black and white. With no audio. The video depicting Beerus posturing as he usually did in front of Ultimecia, who looked at him with that same arrogant and knowing glare. Then of Beerus being impaled to the ground by purple spearheads that had materialized out of nowhere, Ultimecia taking the opportunity to caress the cat god's face before her eyes glowed yellow and her body entering his mind. Turning him into a mindless thrall, a slave to be done anything with. As it pans out the view of Griever, Boo-Oob, and Vegeta look at the event. The dead body of Zueva on the ground nearby, shedded like a snake's skin. Then of Beerus attacking the three, mutilating them with his universal might. Ripping each of their limbs off with single touches and turning Boo-Oob's regeneration into a degenerative nightmare, causing what looked to be genuine fear in his eyes as he slowly turned into nothingness. Vegeta getting his face smashed into the ground until his skull caved in to the otherside of his head. Then of the controlled Beerus being shed, his physical powers being absorbed by Ultimecia. Now left a useless, spineless fleshbag. The voice of the enlightened one ringing into Beerus' ears.
I ask you to not move forward to battle those four because it is not only detrimental to you, but the entire universe itself. It would also be troublesome for me, having that sorceress acquire your power, she already has half of Hyne's body. To give her more is to sentence us all to a long and painful doom, much as she has suffered already. And upon hearing of Ultimecia acquiring half of Hyne' body, he understood. Now transported into the opening of the monster's mouth, overlooking his inanimate body, now consumed by the flames from earlier as was Whis.
When I call upon you is when you come, if you disobey this, I will destroy you. The enlightened one said as Whis and the inanimate Beerus were now melting under the intense universal flames. The liquids flying towards Beerus and entering his open mouth, gagging and choking on it.
Beerus blinked and he was standing next to Whis, the enlightened one gone.
"Whis... tell me you saw that being..."
"There is and never has been someone in front of us, now as I said. We should probably make sure you get rest before you go out chasing after high powers. Who knows what they could be capable of, although I'm sure you are more than capable of taking them out." Beerus sighed and nodded, remembering his ordeal that had happened not too long ago.
"Whis... how long have we been standing here?"
"Only a second or two..."
"Oh boy..." Beerus murmured as they both headed back, the enlightened one's voice ringing in Beerus' mind.
From here on you can refer to me as Rain...
=The Orbit Around Earth=
Ordus is releasing the drones operator, would you also like me to release the super death satellites of death? Ordus realizes this humour is not to your liking, Ordus will rectify this error in future interactions... What is this? You would like Ordus to weaponize the moon? Can do Operator! I will connect the wireless uplinks to your HUD. Giving you full control, Ordus has been waiting some years for this!
I think this sums up my thoughts pretty well about the mind f***ery going on here....
Genuinely not the kind of stuff I expect out of a Z fic but damn was it well done. I do think that it could've been spaced out more, the big wall of text was kind of intimidating for me at first to read lol.
That was a dark episode. "Enlighten One," huh? I like that, and casted a smile the first time I read it. I'm ready to see more of him already.
Beerus showing up around this time felt natural to me. This whole case of gods in the mix will be exciting.
I think I see where you're going. It appears the Illuminati managed to get a hold of DSoT as well. Lmao.
Once I get Rain's fic over here you'll be able to see a lot more of him. But he'll have a lot more appearances in DSoT too. You probably saw on the other forum, but Rain's appearance in DSoT is pretty far along in his own story.

That got a good laugh out of me xD. Fair enough on the wall of text, was somewhat rushed and I wanted to get something out to everyone here since I haven't updated since August.
Recap: After fighting for a short bit, Zueva has dispatched the mighty Gokhan! Squall tried in vain to stop her but is thwarted by her magic resistance of which surprised even Griever. After seizing a moment of weakness, Griever has forced his aspect onto Squall and is now in control, wanting to fight the Ultimecia influenced Zueva. Alas the aspect of pure evil in Oob has come forth, and the godly Vegeta has come down to test his mettle. With these four combustible elements in one place who knows what will become of the planet!
Griever takes a look at the other three in attendance, judging who would be the best pick for him to fight. Boo was always a good go-to in order to get caught up on his technique since a fight between them could last ages. Ultimecia's goons were always a good practice in fighting physically since they tended to be magic immune, but that Vegeta seemed so enticing. What secrets could a Saiyan have in their fighting style that he had not seen before? The thought of fighting something he had not tried before excited him like nothing else. Raising his magical Gunblade and with it, pointed towards Vegeta as he called him out.
"You, I want to fight you. A fighter I've never had the pleasure of forcing to their knee." A grin found its way on Griever's face. Vegeta with his arms crossed looked at the Ancient God, shaking his head.
"You're that fighter from before, the one with Kakarot and the others. Well, you seem to have made quite an improvement from before. You were pathetic, but now you're not only visually stronger but physically too."
Griever shook his head slightly.
"I'm something far different than that wimp I'm stuck inside. Something at the very least a few rungs above in terms of universal hierarchy." Now looking at Vegeta, Griever continues.
"There's the Kaio, some Grand Kaio of some kind, and then the Kaioshin. I am a step above or so, barring a few beings here and there." Griever says as he shakes his free hand. Vegeta's brow furrows.
"That doesn't speak much of yourself that you're only a step or two above a Kaioshin, they were pitiful last time I checked." Vegeta said as he laughed. Griever doing so as well.
"Fair enough on that, it is rather pathetic how they're so weak considering they're supposed to be balanced out by a God of Destruction that apparently can destroy this entire universe. I personally would've figured they'd be at least a few hundred times stronger, or maybe have their strength funnel out to another Kaioshin when they died. Much more useful then, but... I'm digressing quite a bit here aren't I? The battle is what I want!" Griever said as he suddenly lunged towards Vegeta, leaving a small crater where he used to stand. Approaching Vegeta fast enough to visibly distort the space around him, the speed throwing Vegeta off.
W-what the!?
Barely ducking down in time to avoid Griever's horizontal slash, Vegeta uses his ki to propel himself backwards. Seeing a lunatic smile on Griever as he swung. Recovering from the swing Griever brought his blade low.
"What's the matter there? Never seen speed like that before? Surely with that much power you've seen someone as fast as this? Or... oh my... did you cheat yourself to this power?" Griever began letting out a small chuckle.
Vegeta, not pleased with this, grunted as he dropped down to his battle stance. His formerly cocky expression changing to one that looked mildly ticked off.
"No worries, soon you'll get accustomed to this sort of power. Just be careful..." Griever immediately appeared next to Vegeta and took another swing, Vegeta barely ducking under yet again. Taking the time to attempt a leg sweep, but Griever leaped up into the air, an orb forming in his hand, tossing it down as it turned into an ice shard that would've impaled Vegeta through the top of his skull had he not leaped backwards.
"Or you may never get the chance to actually experience it for what it's worth. I wouldn't want that for either of us, so keep your eyes peeled." Griever began to twirl the Gunblade in his hand with the finesse and ease of a hot butter knife through butter. Nicking himself on the forearm and causing a bit of blood to form.
A little rusty...
Griever thought to himself as he raised another orb in his hand, this time the orb flickering between different colours as Griever catalogued which spell he wanted to use.
"Tell me fool, you say I cheat. Yet here you are using magic in a battle that should be done with our own bodies. Aren't you being a bit of a hypocrite?" Vegeta asked with a smile on his face once more. Griever responding with a shrug dropping the orb and his Gunblade, the latter of which re-materialized onto his back.
"To be fair, I was more dangerous to myself with my spells and blade than I was to you. If you want me to manhandle you then by all means I will grant your wish." Griever said, his nails turning into small claws. Twitching his fingers as he once more flashed forward with his space bending speed, yet he somehow moved faster, much faster in fact. So fast that he was able to grasp Vegeta by the mouth and lift him off the ground with him towards the sky. Leaving Vegeta to wrap his hands around the Ancient God's forearms in an attempt to free himself. Whereas before they were in a barren landscape they were now over a bustling city.
Below on the streets stood a middle aged man with balding hair, and in a business suit. Pointing up to the sky.
"Hey look at that!" He said as before he could even realize he was turned into paste by Griever and Vegeta flying right by him.
Returning to the fight, Griever had let go of Vegeta, now making him fly by just punching him with authoritative lefts and rights. Griever could see a building not too far away and decided it would be best to stop the momentum. Grabbing Vegeta by the throat, Griever immediately changed the direction to his left, chucking Vegeta towards the building and planting him into the solid structure. Leaving an indent that was perfectly Vegeta's size. Taking the time to slowly fly up to the newly battered Saiyan. Taking his face with the tips the claws on his right hand.
"Fight me without it he said, it'll be fun he said..." Griever rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"Careful whatcha wish foooor..." Griever said as he grabbed Vegeta now by the tail, lifting him up with one arm and having him dangle upside down.
"I wonder..." Griever now grabbed Vegeta's tail with both arms and began to spin around with him like a hammer tosser at the olympics. Spinning fast enough to become a blur of colour, releasing Vegeta towards the ground. Upon impact, a shockwave rung through the city. Large enough to cover the entire length of it before dying down. Buildings collapsed and turned into dust, the residents turning into mush or just exploding into gorey fireworks. The city that once was, was now covered in smoke and dust. Griever scratching the his cheek with his right hand.
"Perhaps that was a bit too much... Woops." Griever shrugged, looking towards where we look in and see the story unfold.
