Still no Piccolo variations? Kinda lame. I was thinking of getting this but I don't like side on battlers the big arena just feels like a complete waste UT, Raging Blast and BT's styles were way better for a series like this. And yeah that roster is kinda crappy... Why add GT characters and yet leave so many others out? Figured GT would be basically retconned with the advent of BoG. |

I think this game can really make or break the future of DBZ games considering the quality in major DBZ games have steady dipped after Atari lost the distribution rights and Dimps is like the A-Team for DBZ games especially now that Spike (B-Team) have given up on DBZ games. Anyways my hopes for the game is pretty high since as far as I'm concerned, Dimps has never let us down when it comes to DBZ games. |

I guess they like to include every part of the series in these games. Love it or hate it that does include GT. Personally id much rather them focus on Dragon Ball and DBZ in greater depth than even bothering with GT. But I guess they think there is a market for GT related content in the games. |

I just looked at the super attacks and by god, they look only slightly better than they did in BOZ. The auras themselves look like they were recycled from Budokai 3, the attacks feel way too neat(they cut off instantly without leaving any residual energy trails), and of course, a total lack of cinematics for the attacks so that all attacks look more like a combo than a super attack I could go further on individual attacks, like the Spirit Bomb being pitiful in any sort of scale what so ever and some attacks moving so fast, the game's sound effects start to layer on each other |

Called what? Also, the fast paced sense of things is lost for some reason. Like when you kick someone away and teleport behind them to attack them, it feels more delayed than in RB2 or in UT. I'm fairly sure it's the same amount of frames, but it still feels off in the way it's done. |

Seriously, look at the game footage. It looks like Battle of Z except with somewhat better mechanics. Even then, it's still maintaining that putrid graphical style which makes beams and characters look horrible and the fighting mechanics are still jagged and wonky to the point where I'm sure that running around trying to find your opponent will be half the battle. |

You honestly have no idea what you're talking about if you think this looks anything like Battle of Z from a gameplay perspective: |

It certainly looks the same. I know Battle of Z has the ki bar and all that other stupid crap, but seriously, the gameplay style still has those horribly awkward looking attacks. |

I am excited to play the new story mode considering it is different from the original story and its gonna be interesting being able to fight with a character that has been created to suit you.

The new story mode and character creator that is more flexible sounds interesting, but the problem is that the game's presentation is seriously rather bad. A good portion of a DBZ game is its presentation, the way that everything looks. Does it look accurate to the DBZ universe and are the attacks sufficiently badass? Xenoverse fails in this department with attacks looking really bad(to be fair, so did the ones in BOG, so maybe that's the new trend) and all of the combos looking rather stiff and unnatural by comparison. I'll probably play it at a friend's before actually buying it |

I think the original story should be kept if anyone who doesn't know about DBZ buys the game, and not some confusing twisted version of the original. I like the graphics, but I hope they go into more detail and allow big amounts of blood. DBZ shouldn't be censored in the least. Overall, I don't care about the graphics. The Tenkaichi series never got brilliant graphics, what impressed me always was the amount of effort put into the special effects when a character was charging or throwing an attack. They looked beautiful. I hope it's not like Raging Blast 2 or Ultimate Tenkaichi where they had horrible controls. I hope they're more fluid, fun and easy to remember, like with the Budokai Tenkaichi games. I'd also like new characters we've never seen. There were some good additions on RB2, but most were meh. Only Hatchiyack was worth the money. Open world would be cool, though. I don't know if this one is going to be fully open world or not at all. Edited by Darker, Feb 15 2015, 12:25 AM.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

The Tenkaichi, RB, and UT series at least seemed to follow the anime style rather well. This game's art style doesn't mesh well and the attacks look like Budokai 3 era ki blasts |
