I figured I'd ask this, considering it seems likely he learned it from Kami & Popo.

Yajirobe's only quote on this page seems to suggest he does, but is it a translation error?

Perhaps he was just noticing how Goku looked worn compared to Vegeta.

So here is the best answer I came up with. During the battle against 19 and 20, Bulma and Yajirobe are together in the Capsule Corp vehicle heading towards the battle., Bulma has to use visual clues to find the Z Fighters, specifically the smoke and dust from ki blasts. At no time does Yajirobe use the ability to sense ki to guide them in the right direction, nor does Bulma try and get him to help her. Neither makes mention of the ability. I understand that he was a reluctant participant in that ride, but he did everything else Bulma said including getting in the vehicle and taking care of Trunks. When they arrive at the scene he seems clueless and shocked at the giant crater where 19 was destroyed. So I say no.

Check out Chapters 346-347 for reference.

Ah, yes. You're right. Yajirobe probably never bothered to learn it then.

I agree, during the battle with androids 19 and 20, he doesn't show any response to them. I'm not quite sure if he can or can not.

He can't sense. it isn't displayed at any time during the anime/manga.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

I don't think he can.
Anyone can make a judgement by observing a fight, even someone like Bulma can. And they can almost accurately do so particularly if they have a context to go by.
He knew that Goku was a great fighter, yet Goku's attacks weren't doing much to Vegeta.

Sorry to answer on an old topic, but I would like to give my opinion on this topic.

I think he learned how to sense Ki with Popo and Kami, but only the very basics, and opposed to other characters he never developed it further.

He could sense the Ki of the Spirit Bomb while Krillin was controlling it in the fight against Vegeta.

It's the only time in the series he showed the ability to sense Ki, but he did show it in the manga. It's possible he lost the ability again because he didn't used it/trained it anymore after the Saiyan Saga, but I think it is like biking, once you can do it, you don't forget how you have to do it.

He could sense Oozaru Vegeta's demonic aura too. I can guarantee that he can sense ki after Kami's training at least.

When the Saiyajins arrived he was shown with an exclamation signal, albeit not as strong as the others'. He was also sweating:

This combined with what Super Saiyan said makes me think he could sense chi. The anime also supports this idea, in which he could identify the right location of the battle for the reporters.

Yeah, that should prove he can sense energy. The whole point of this page was to show the Z Fighters' reaction to the Saiyans' energy; why else would he be looking distressed there?

Indeed, together with this moment were he literately mentions Chi (I don't believe it is an translation error).

Yeah he can sense ki, as ahill just pointed out he seemed to have noticed that the saiyans had arrived. I don't see why he wouldn't be able to, wasn't Goku able to sense ki because he had reached a certain level of power? I believe it was right after he had drank the Ultra Divine Water and sensed where King Piccolo was. Yajirobe should be well beyond that, I see no reason for him to not be able to sense ki.

I don't think power has anything to do with it. I think training with certain people grants the ability, or even fighting people who sense ki in certain cases.
