Firstly, don't call them hackers as hacking takes intelligence you or I could initiate Ddos attacks from home if we wanted. Thoughts on these attacks? What better a way to explain that companies might be corrupt than to ruin Christmas for a lot of people, a large portion of which are children who don't know what any of that means anyway. We pay these companies for great games and want to play them what good does stopping us from doing so achieve? a*****. Maybe Sony and Microsoft don't pay tax but I doubt this bunch of stupid kids knows the truth other than from one of those conspiracy sites that look like they're from the 90's. EDIT Check you Amazon, SEN and XBL accounts A document full of peoples passwords has been leaked by a fake Anonymous account so you might get money stolen if you're on the list, it would be wise to change your passwords. Never used a credit card to buy anything so I guess i'm lucky here. Sucks for the people that did though. Lots of sensitive info being leaked for the purpose of lulz and gags apparently. |

Yeah it's pathetic, most of the time these groups are apparently trying to expose some sort of corruption. By spoiling innocent people's enjoyment and stealing from them? They should be leaking dodgy photo's of company heads doing weird sex acts or wearing their wives pants, not attacking the consumers... Or maybe they're talking complete bulls*** and just want to annoy everyone? Yeah prolly that. |

Yeah all those so called explanations are bulls***. The truth is they get a kick out of it and they are too selfish to care about the customers they are hurting. Probably just a bunch of fat, lonely, virgins. |

Ain't that the likely truth. What I don't get is why these attacks seem to be so hard to block, track and fix, if it's basically overloading the servers with false connections then why are they broken that long I wonder what steps can be taken in future to prevent this since virtually anyone could look up how to cause an attack on Google. Maybe that's something that will get more focus after these attacks or if they keep continuing. |
