I'd say Call of duty was better many years ago, but it doesn't even compete any more. Of course that's just my opinion. |

They're franchises... not single games. Personally, I enjoy them both for different reasons. Of CoD, I played MW2 the most. Of BF, I played either BF3 or Vietnam the most. I nearly never play both at the same time... generally playing one franchise or the other. |

Battlefield easily. There's just so much more variety, no annoying killstreaks every two seconds and you can drive/fly vehicles which is awesome and really gives it the feeling of a massive battle whereas CoD is just a bunch of psycho's in a tiny box shooting each other. CoD has it's high points, namely how fun it can be in an adrenaline fueled rampage kind of way and the campaign is typically better although the mission format is extremely dull most of the time. CoD just feels like the limited, cheap version really. It barely changes each year, the maps are tiny and the guns aren't very interesting or that well balanced. Whereas in Battlefield you get massive maps in most modes and smaller TDM maps, it caters to way more playstyles. And the modes themselves feel less like minigames and more like battles which is great in my opinion. In CoD running around through buildings stabbing people and lobbing grenades everywhere doesn't compare to blowing up tanks/boats/transport vehicles in a jet then parachuting on to a building, stabbing a sniper who's been picking off your team and then blowing up the building his friends are in and then having to escape from a runaway battleship about to crash in to an island or a dam exploding next to you. Battlefield does more for the same price so in my opinion it's not even a contest. |

@steve The people who get kill streaks in 2 seconds are good can't blame them |
