Good to see Supersonic Warriors getting some love here. I always loved that game when I played it in 04 and 05.

The amount of hypothetical what ifs in that game is amazing and the stories are really interesting.

The Last GT Fighter

All time favorite still has to go out to Budokai Tenkaichi 3. All the characters, all the moves, and a solid showing of GT too. That's what made it worth it.
Legacy of Goku II gets a close second for being so much fun and expanding on the concept so well.

Legacy of Goku I, Ultimate Tenakichi and Battle of Z on the other hand may all eat a d***, in that order... I didn't care for them very much at all. I found legacy of Goku inaccurate, poorly adapted and limited. Ultimate Tenkaichi was boring and the fighting system was literally paper rock scissors. And Battle of f***ING Z was the largest pile of horse s*** i'd ever had the displeasure of pre-ordering and wasting sixty bucks on had potential but missed a lot of opportunities with a steep learning curb with little pay off, a limited character selection and no offline co-op or versus. Shame.

I like UT just for its presentation and the Hero mode, primitive as it may be.

My dislike of Budokai 3 stems from having to grind for items and hoping to get lucky after each tournament that you got any reward you wanted in the shop.

Burst Limit is really underrated.
A game made far better when you do not equip the battle-pausing items.

Every DBZ fighter from Dimps (Budokai 1-3, Shin Budokai 1-2, Infinite World, Burst Limit) except Evolution is outstanding from the perspective of fighting mechanics. The Spike games (Tenkaichi 1-3, Tenkaichi Tag Team, Raging Blast 1-2, Kinect, Ulitmate Tenkachi) usually have better rosters and more single player content but are pretty shallow in terms of combat mechanics. Raging Blast 2 and Tenkaichi Tag Team come closest to being good fighting games but I'm hopeful Xenoverse will blow them all out of the water.
