We know for a fact SSJ3 Gokhan/Gogeta > Mystic Gohan as Goku wanted to fuse with Gohan, and there would be no point in fusing if you end up weaker or the same. We know for certain SSJ2 Gogeta < Boohan (arguably SSJ3), but let's assume he meant SSJ2. Who wins between Gohan and Gogeta? I have SSJ2 Gogeta ~> Super Boo, so Gohan is stronger, but a fusion of Goku and Vegeta must be a monster to fight at close power levels. Who takes it?

SSJ3 Gotenks was much weaker than Gohan. By logic, so would his SSJ2 form. Why is this important? The adults are not leaps and bounds ahead of the kids. In other words, Gohan is going to own SSJ2 Gogeta. |

I don't see anything suggesting fusion is linear. I never said the adults were far stronger, but who said their fused forms have to retain the same gap? Edited by Six Trails, Dec 15 2014, 10:07 PM.

It would be a larger gap obviously, but going beyond 2x is pushing it, putting it at 3x is a huge difference. But even a 3x difference isn't going to give enough oomph to even rival Gohan. You'd have to make SSJ2 a 4x boost, at which point Gohan is rivaled, but he should still win Edited by lazerbem, Dec 15 2014, 11:02 PM.

@lazerbem http://dbzf.co.uk/topic/8512522/1/#new I'm not so sure about the whole buuhan>ssj3 gogeta anymore. I think ssj2 gogeta should beat gohan |

It's not about Boohan, it's about Gotenks in SSJ2 being garbage to Gohan, even if the adults were 3x as tough as the boys in fusion, being in SSJ2 wouldn't be enough to beat Gohan. |

Gohan beats him to a bloody pulp unless Gogeta can use SSJ3. |

If we some how scaled Gogeta's power from fusion reborn to the manga, i'd say he wouldn't have to be much stronger than super buu to do what he did to janemba who i believe had a good power advantage over goku and kid buu. Still nothing would suggest he could take gohan though....SSJ2 might fall short IMO. |

Gogeta in Fusion Reborn is hax, but not by an absolutely enormous margin. I highly doubt his SSJ2 is enough, much less the manga version. BTW, Gogeta doesn't need to be stronger than Super Boo to beat down Janemba, Janemba had trouble against an SSJ3 Goku and only maintained domination due to hax skills(though he was indeed stronger) |

Goku was planning on a ssj1 gohkan to fight buutenks before old kai told him that with potara the ssj won't be necessary. Ssj gohkan=ssj gogeta>buutenks Gogeta can't even turn ssj and goku was aware of that. Pretty sure buuhan was too so he was wrong to say that a ssj2 gogeta can't beat him. Still kind of sorting a few things out I could be wrong on something Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Dec 16 2014, 02:24 AM.

...Potara isn't the same as Metamoran, this is well established. And how do you know he planned to use SSJ? With Vegito, he said he was surprised at his own strength. |

Potara fusion is superior to the fusion dance, so no a theoretical goku-gohan fusion would not = gogeta. Goku planned to fuse with gohan via potara not the dance. Goku and vegeta fusing with the potara ens up with vegito not gogeta. Old kai may well have said that but that could easily be attributed to the fact that gohan was already much stronger than goku in any form. |

I know they're different. Goku asked if he should turn "super saiyan" before fusing with gohan. He didn't say ssj2 or 3 This also implies he is aware that fusions can't turn transform without practice. There's a daiz entry on this too I can reply more later. Not now though :/ Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Dec 16 2014, 02:32 AM.
