Stats as in when they show how much the numbers increase when you transform (boost) or how much damage you do. Basically it's short for statistics.

I know how to do it in Budokai & Burst-Limit but not here.

Yeah, that isn't here. I'm not sure it even changes. Transforming is mostly cosmetic or for getting a new moveset and thus, more versatility(less bad matchups).

I guess the best way to test is to go to training mode, do a basic combo(tapping X/Square repeatedly), do a Smash Attack(hold down X/Square), and then fire a Super Attack. I believe those are the three attack disciplines

Yeah, I also don't like how it doesn't change anything. Just a different look.

But thank you.

It can be very helpful with someone like Freeza, whose moveset changes and gives him more options if you are in a team battle and up against a bad match for the current form

Yeah, I get that but I meant more like the series where it isn't just kind of pointless to transform. They should actually make a difference so that you'd rather be 100% Freeza than 1st-Form (huge power boost) especially since you can do ridiculous things like best Boo with Base Goku alone where it should really be more like the series.

If then the game's balancing would be f***ed as everyone would pick the Boo Saga top tiers and nothing else.

Adding power ups when you transform is horrifically unfair to anyone who can't transform, so the game is once against massively damaged because no one would ever pick the non-transformers.

There could be an option to make it either realistic or balanced, but I'd rather have it that way than have it the way it's been with the games since forever.

Also if you are really good, you could prove it if you use a weaker character against a stronger one.

I don't know about the point about not using weaker characters either. Everyone knows Yamcha is 1 of the weakest characters, yet some people still select him.

This discussion is off-topic, though. LOL
