Most of the people I know had this show being part of their childhoods. Can't blame 'em though, the first season has a kick-ass theme song. One of the very few themes that can rival the 80s TMNT intro IMO.

The only logical adversary, assuming it's the entire Power Rangers team, would be Voltron. I bet they're going to do a knock off joke simply because Voltron took elements from Super Sentai which got translated and turned into Power Rangers when it came to the west.

Still, the animation was really cool and got me hyped, so I'd say good episode. Next up is Ace vs Natsu, which I'm sure is going to either draw salt from Fairy Tale fans or...no, that's really the only way it can go.

I'm surprised they didn't use any footage from the recent Voltron show, guess that one rebooted a lot of stuff. And yeah, that was some really good animation, with some really good music to go alongside it. I swear I heard a remix of both themes combined into one and that is awesome.

How could Ace possibly win that one Natsu literally eats fire to fuel his powers and is pretty much immune to it IIRC and you only need to hit Ace with Haki or something hotter than his flames to hurt him, which I'm sure Natsu does with God flames and whatever the f*** he has these days. Unless his fire has a stated heat and it's not very high, doubt it though. Seems almost spitey. Ace has one good move and his main advantage of being intangible should be irrelevant.
