What films would you guys make? I think I would make a Phase 1 like this.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Super Mario Bros
Metroid
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Kid icarus
Super Smash Bros

That's how my Phase 1 would go.

Nah you have to start with Mario since it's Nintendo's mascot.

Then you can pretty much follow it up with anything.

You might consider having the first Zelda movie be Skyward Sword, since it's the first in the timeline. But I guess you could always make a prequel later on.

What about Pokemon, Donkey Kong, and Kirby though? In some sort of Phase 2 maybe? However, Pokemon is in the "Big 3" in Nintendo sort of, so Phase 1 might be better.

Dude, Pokemon is Number two, second only to Mario, you're totally right when you say it's gotta hit the first line.

Phase 1:
Super Mario World
Legend of Zelda: Hero of Time
Pokemon: Red Vs Blue Yellow Strike
Metroid: Prime
Star Fox: Lylat Wars

Phase 2:
Kirby, Defender of Dreamland
Super Mario & Donkey Kong
DK Country
Pokemon: GS Chronicles
Super Smash Brothers

Just idea though. Real question is do we do them like Marvel does, focusing on one villian and one story arc? Or more like DC where it's about the characters? Or maybe just having it be kinda like old Videogame movies, entirely different stories and new adventures just based on the characters?

If it was me I would keep the Movies Anime only, but I would still treat them as if they were Live Action.

Phase 1:
Super Mario Brothers.
The Legend of Zelda The Master Sword (That would be my title) It would still be the first in the timeline though.
Metroid.

Not sure about the rest, but the Animation would make the creators of Final Fantasy jealous. But I would give each Movie their own unique Title, and considering the success of the Films, it would depend on how my Phase 2 would be.

Why haven't we written a Super Mario Brothers movie? You know, a good one.

I don't think live action can be done. The characters are too strange.

You don't. It needs to be a reboot.

That was just a crappy decision, but it's very obvious Nintendo has learned from that mistake and I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt since they didn't try to milk it or make the same mistake twice.

How would you do a Mario movie? How do you make Mario/Peach/Bowser actual characters instead of plot devices?

I would rather not have a Nintendo movie at all.

Video Games/Anime and Hollywood movies are like water and oil. Just don't bother with it.

What the hell was that? That didn't happen! Next thing you'll tell me is that Frieza knocked Bardock into the past instead of killing him. Or while we're talking crazy, there was also this movie where Justin Chatwin and Chow Yun Fat got together and adapted Dragon Ball Season 4. Talking crazy.

Dennis Hopper (he played the Koopa guy or whatever) on that movie:

"Dad, I think you're probably a pretty good actor, but why did you play that terrible guy "King Koopa" in "Super Mario Bros."?" and I said, "Well Henry, I did that so you could have shoes", and he said, "Dad, I don't need shoes that badly".
