Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Templars easily. Humans are violent and unpredictable the notion of true freedom is ridiculous we'd just destroy ourselves eventually. We have leaders because we need them. An an with no purpose can only destroy it's the same with humans. If everyone had the freedom to just sit in bed all day every day and not work or anything then go out and steal their food with no consequence...what would be the point? Nobody would go for that, they'd make businesses and jobs once more and the whole thing would start again. Imagine the world was united under one great power, an absolute power they can't fight against, no more wars could be fought, no more borders etc. Not that the Templars aren't without corruption but for one thing people need to be manipulated for things to get rolling. They may have shady methods but their ultimate goal is way more beneficial than the Assassins'.

The way the Templars do things isn't right, they abduct people and force them to do experiments that could potentially and also have destroyed their minds. I do believe that there should always be order, but the Templars are power hungry and won't stop at anything until they're in control of everything and they have the power to force everyone to do everything they want them to do. Sure there needs to be order, but human being also have the right to make choices on their own free will, not having choices forced on them. I'm not saying the Assassin's are perfect either, because I do believe a lot of them shoot first and ask questions later. A lot of them stray away from their Training and The Order much sooner than they should have, and their Teachers should have more control over their Students. If the Students would stay under Teachings until they're ready... then it would prevent a lot of problems. A lot of the time the Templars act out from retaliation and that's it, I do believe if a Templars goes too far and needs to be taken care of, they can be taken care of quietly without drawing any attention to either side. I think there needs to be a balance of both, I believe both sides can come to a Truce where they understand each other and neither side acts out on the other, as long each side deals with corruption in their own way but they have their own territories, if an Assassin gets out of line, then an Assassin takes care of them and the same with the Templars too.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Well yeah, I'm not saying you are wrong as it's a matter of perspective really but the Templar's seem more correct to me because using underhanded methods and being an object of fear is how you remain in control, it's why the fear of God keeps people religious. You wouldn't dare sin if God would strike you down for it. Humanity needs a firm hand to be guided on the right path but at the same time need to not know about it, or else s*** hits the fan I don't really see what the Assassins vision of the future is supposed to be. A combo of the two would be ideal of course but if that can't happen, I'm siding with the Templars.

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	I'm not saying control doesn't need to happen, but the Templars take it to an extreme, and so far the Assassin's do seem to have some control, but won't take it to the extremes like the Templars do. The Templars if something isn't theirs, they feel it should be and they don't care how it gets that way, they bring far too much attention to their order... the only Assassin I know of who's come too close to that was Altiar and he more than learned his lesson. I do agree that the Templars need to have some control, but not being in overall control, if they were the whole World would turn into one big Concentration Camp and nobody would have any freedom. The Assassin's and Templars should have equal control and order, but one should never have more than the other. Like we talked before, it would be neat to see the Franchise end with there being a truce and both agreeing to maintain order. I would've liked it even more if that's how things were before and that's what caused this war between the two.

However the Assassin's Creed(not the individual Assassin's like Ezio, Altair, and the Kenways) come off as hypocritical and weak. I find templars to be a tad bit more realistic and reasonable. Steve mentioned it earlier so I won't repeat. Only a few assassins actually come of course as reasonable. The ones you play as. The ones you don't play as shows how Assassins really are IMO.
