I'd be fine not seeing Super Saiyan Goku, but Super Saiyan Vegeta is a must.

I think you mean Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta; I'm kind of suffering withdrawal from that, given that it didn't appear in BoG.

Maybe it did. Toei doesn't give a s*** about form consistency.

Didn't SSJ2 Goku have lightning in BoG when he showed it to Beerus?

Right as he transformed, but then the lightning disappeared. It didn't stick around for Super Saiyan 3 either. Classic Toei.

Toei can suck me off then, they need to learn consistency. People can see that and think that Vegetto was using SSJ2 in the manga.

I'm a little disappointed Toriyama didn't see that and correct them, but I'm not surprised.

It probably won't be corrected in this upcoming movie either, so we won't know if Gohan/Vegeta is a Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2, and they're the ones that are barely noticeable.

Keep in mind Toriyama was also responsible for the Boo arc, which was filled with loads of weird s*** regarding SSJ2s. I'm not surprised he didn't even notice.

The manga portrays the differences between forms very consistently (with the possible exception of Super Vegetto, though his aura was clearly that a regular SSJ). That's why it's very difficult to argue that Gohan used SSJ2 against Dabra.

GT and fillers on the other hand, well, let's just say that if sparks are any indication, Goten turned SSJ2 at least once. ;)

Agreed of course that Gohan was a Super Saiyan in the manga, it's simply the reasoning that makes no sense. What I'm trying to say is that Toriyama has allowed some questionable things to happen before, I'm not surprised that it may happen again.

I don't like the idea of Freeza being able to gain power through training. I like him just being naturally strong but unable to change that power through natural means. It doesn't fit with his character to be able to get stronger. He was - as far as he knew - the most powerful being in the universe but he was terrified of losing that power. He destroyed the saiyans because they might be a threat to him but the universe is a big place, another threat could appear. With that in mind why wouldn't he have trained before? Just to be safe from any threat? Not even an hour a day? Plus, he has that massive potential and his cells are a part of Cell and if Freeza can get massively stronger, then it just seems that Cell - with all of his other advantages on top of Freeza's cells - wasn't strong enough.

Alright everyone, I just a dream about the new movie and I think it may be a prophet. So here's how it went. Those two guys, Freeza's army members. They basically got together one day and said.

I know its a joke but this may be the only time such a dream has relevance to actual topic here.
