Vegeta: "How could I possibly be loyal to you?! You're the one who destroyed my world, Planet Vegeta!"
Whis: *whispering* "Oh, but Lord Beerus also approved of Planet Vegeta's destruction."
Beerus: "Shssh! Shut up!"

That's from the script in Volume "F". I'm assuming the movie dialogue's the same, but I suppose there could be some differences. Still, elsewhere in Volume F, there's a note from Toriyama explaining Beerus and Freeza's relationship. Toriyama just says that they sort of get along because they both destroy stuff, but one time Freeza got carried away, made Beerus angry, and got his clock cleaned as a result. Then the little section recapping Freeza's history just says Freeza was so influential even Beerus heard of him, and doesn't mention anything about Beerus being a factor in Freeza destroying Planet Vegeta. It's just the same old "he was afraid of the Saiyans teaming up to rebel against him (and secretly probably afraid of the Super Saiyan). The history section doesn't seem to have any input from Toriyama, but still, if dialogue in the film flat-out said Beerus ordered Planet Vegeta's destruction, it'd be weird for them to overlook it.

LOL.

That's great, haha!

If there's going to be an Extended version, I hope that it includes more stuff like that. It'd bring more balance to the movie as a whole, and it'd be a good chance to potentially extend Vegeta's moment of glory.

He probably took Freeza's one clock he keeps in the house and cleaned it very well but forgot to return it. Hence why Freeza sucks at telling time now. Damn you Beerus, your influence knows no bounds.

Y'know, I was really hoping that Beerus would be extremely ****ed when he woke up. Imagine;

You have a dream about a 'Super Saiyan God' appearing to face you in battle. Then your attendant tells you that an androgynous electrical appliance from space has pretty much committed genocide and killed almost all of the Saiyans, therefore making your chances of facing this 'God' next to nil.

Does it annoy anyone else as much as me that nobody will ever have actually beaten Freeza's best?

On Namek Goku beat what was essentially a couch potato Freeza who in no way had ever attempted to be at his best.

Then in this movie, Vegeta can smirk all he wants whilst he beats Freeza, but the tyrant will just be thinking "if only I'd taken the time to get used to my new form". He won't be thinking his best was bettered by a saiyan.

Just saw the leaked Vegeta vs Freeza footage. Not all that good IMO. Seems like a very basic beat down which isn't bad but it's feels rather lackluster. Wasn't a good scene but wasn't a bad scene. Rather..an average scene. 6.5/10 or 7/10. Could have been much better or seems more satisfying. Didn't feel like a Vegeta moment but more of a filler moment to past time until Freeza to blow up Earth and Whis reverse time. Goku vs Freeza (leaked footage) looked so much cooler(ignoring the ugly forms/states that they were in. Golden Freeza and Bluper SSJ) fighting wise and is something I'll edit to in an AMV.

Leaked footage of Z Warriors vs Freeza men was pretty cool.

Vegeta surprisingly doesn't look good in blue hair. Quite disssponited in it. Goku is...passable as a Bluper SSJ.

Bah, SSJGSSJ Vegeta looks just fine IMO.
Chris Ayres is officially voicing Freeza in Resurrection F

From first hit to last, that fight lasted exactly 20 seconds. I mean it was satisfying, but if that's all it is then come on....

It wasn't
Honesty it wasn't even one of Vegeta's top moment. It's just average to me. It's in the same play field as Vegeta vs Ginyu (both times). Wasn't bad but wasn't overly impressive overall. Possibly better in movie form.

That was it? I mean I saw the clip too and I just thought it was a clip. Just a short little tidbit of the whole thing.

No that sucked people and even if I did like Vegeta that was disappointing. I mean this was Vegeta's huge moment? Heck it sounds like his only moment to be honest but I would be ashamed. This Vegeta's shining moment? A quick little beating on a guy whose already weakened?

Let's think about this for a moment. Before Vegeta threw everything he could on Freeza when he was on Namek and Freeza mocked him entirely. He then crushed his pride, made him cry and then proceeded to practically beat him to death. He beat him so hard that Vegeta had to go and basically beg Goku, his mortal enemy to finish of Freeza.

Freeza beat everything out of him. His pride, his energy, his body, and he reduced Vegeta to absolutely nothing at Vegeta's best.

In this case, Vegeta is beating on a weakened Freeza for about 20 seconds (and Freeza still tries to fight back, where as Vegeta started crying last time) and then Freeza blindsides him and blows the Earth up. I don't think Vegeta deserves any recognition at all but if I was a fan, I again would be ashamed.

This was a small slap on the hand compared to the brutalization Freeza gave Vegeta before.

Its outright stupid to judge any Vegeta scene without dialogue. He's known as much if not more for his words than his fists

Yeah, and we don't see the scenes leading up to that. Frieza (Sorbet) taking out Goku, Vegeta showing up and transforming, ect.
