Eye of the tiger. Proud of you Freeza
This would literally make the movie better than anything I've read so far. Skimming through Kanzenshuu thread.
It's not official image .

The thing I'm annoyed at is the fact that Vegeta goes totally overboard with it. Spoiler: click to toggle It's not just him insisting on fighting Freeza, he actually starts fighting with Goku for the right to fight Freeza, right? That's not just him being arrogant and a jerk, he's being an active and dangerous nuisance.
I don't know what people are expecting from Vegeta. Even in Battle of Gods, it was clear he's still proud. What's more, Freeza isn't currently a threat, so dangerous nuisance? I don't think so.
Spoiler: click to toggle Freeza showed on Namek that he'll blow up the planet if he's desperate. So Vegeta, knowing how dangerous Freeza is in this regard, is going to go and fight Goku, the only person other than himself who's strong enough to defeat Freeza, and leave Freeza to do what he likes? That's not pride, that's pure idiocy.
Freeza is often too prideful to do that. Even on Namek he restrained himself in order to try and defeat Goku at his best. What's more, pride itself is often foolish so being ignorant of that possibility doesn't negate his pride. I'm often amused by the fact people try to hold Goku and Vegeta to the same standard as, say, Superman because they are flawed characters. That's part of what makes them interesting.
Spoiler: click to toggle What exactly was he going to do? If he's fighting Goku in order to gain the right to kill Freeza, he isn't exactly going to stop, is he? Before Freeza says anything, he was fighting with the intention of incapacitating Goku, because that's the only way to fight Freeza without Goku interfering. Say all you want about Goku hogging all the fights (believe me, I hate it too), but Vegeta interrupting their fight with the intention of taking Goku out of the picture in order to essentially kill-steal? That's on a whole different level.
Spoiler: click to toggle These are the type of discussions that are meant to be had once you actually view the content, and not just assumptions from summaries.
Goku >> Frieza (final form)
Frieza couldn't land a hit. This is actually when Vegeta interferes -- when Frieza was absolutely no threat.
Golden Frieza > Super Cyan Goku ~ Super Cyan Vegeta > Golden Frieza (worn out) > Goku ~ Vegeta > Frieza (final form)
Super Cyan Goku goes soft, as warned about, and gets shot down because of it.
Vegeta steps in to do what Goku should have done. He gives Frieza a quick beating, and as he is about to blast him, Frieza unleashes a seemingly invisible beam into the ground and suddenly the Earth explodes.
In a real life or death situation, Goku/Vegeta blast Frieza before Frieza can do a thing. Between warriors who believe in honor and pride, they are going to engage their opponent in combat.
DB/DBZ is about the latter.

Yeah, people are taking Vegeta fighting Goku way too seriously. It was meant to be funny for Vegeta, not Vegeta actually trying to start a serious fight with him.

These transformations are hyped up a lot. And they turn out to just be a change in color. What's worse is that they don't even look strong in the narrative context. What I mean is that Godku is unable to do much to Beers, Blueper Saiyan gets taken down by Freeza and a Henchman, and Freeza was never going to win in the first place. When has a transformation initially got it done.
Goku went ssj and couldn't kill original Frieza. Trunks and Gohan of the future go super and are bdsm toys for their 17-18. Vegeta gets batted around by 18 as the strongest unmastered ssj there is, and then perfect cell bearcats super vegeta. Trunks becomes ussj and is laughed at. Gohan goes ssj2 and it results in him about to have the planet blown up and giving up vs cell to Goku and Vegeta interfere. Ssj3 Goku doesn't beat fat or kid Buu. Ssj god loses to Beerus. Ssj3 Gotenks and Ultimate Gohan have never won a fight.

Trunks, Gohan, and Vegeta weren't at a time when SSJ was the most epic thing ever. By that time, SSJ was already getting phased out. ASSJ and USSJ were said to be s***ty within narrative. SSJ2 still kills Cell, even if with assistance. SSJ3 Goku actually puts up a fighting against Kid Boo and Fat Boo compared to the SSJ2s being mulched. Godku has to rely on Beers not wanting to kill him and doesn't win. Blueper Saiyan is twice humiliated by someone weaker than them. SSJ3 Gotenks or Ultimate Gohan weren't good transformations either.

The Vegeta attacking Goku thing sounds like a gag scene to me. It entirely was, yet people here are breaking it down to character flaws, etc. without having seen the film.
