I still will lmao if it ends with Krillin coming up at he end from behind with a Destructo Disc. I can imagine the looks of the Saiyans and piccolo, even the audience. As a matter of a fact I hope he kills off the bull guy like that with piccolo and Gohan on the ropes at least
Toriyama troll mode activated!

Would certainly be hilarious if Krillin did that.

Goku and Vegeta take turns getting beatten by Frieza, Whis goes back in time and tells them to work together (because I feel the time travel has to be relevant). They do and win. Beerus takes out the henchmen after everyone else gets put down.

Goku and Freeza are fighting equally and hurt each other really badly. Vegeta swoops in, kills Goku and then takes care of Freeza.

Long live the Renegade Saiyan.

The time travel BS is such a contrived way to avoid any real consequence from the plot.

This is the same series that has already use time travel to save everyone, and has a set of magic balls which makes death irrelevant. Kinda used to the inconsequential stuff by now :P

Except that the balls were always in danger of destruction most of the time(the one time they weren't in danger resulted in a stupid plan) and the time travel that Trunks had was different in the sense that the people he actually cared about were still stuck in a bad timeline. Whis either doesn't care about the other timeline where the star is destroyed or he somehow doesn't create alternates.

The main difference is in the level of interference. Trunks did not really overall change anything we had seen. He changed things a lot, but we hadn't seen it happen. It'd be far more infuriating if Trunks, let's say, just time travelled to when Imperfect Cell was a thing if Cell killed Gohan. Not to mention that Trunks's time machine operated on a charge whilst Whis doesn't really have any limits on it and seems to do it casually.

No, if Whis time travels and just fixes up the entire plot, that would be a literal deus ex machina.

Won't be thinking Whis will be turning time back, other than maybe when Beerus wakes up and blows up that moon or whatever it was but even then, I think Beerus won't go back in time to fix it.

I know it was a joke, but Vegeta kill Goku? Nope. Over the years, Goku has become something like a brother to Vegeta, Vegeta respects the hell out of Goku even though he rarely ever admits it.

A team effort seems most likely the outcome with both of them being (equally) prominent on the posters, and considering the wiss scene, also its really common sense ,that as along as the main/face character is in the movie hes going to have a major role regardless; They would have to exclude him from the movie for other characters to get solo stardom..

So whether goku weakens frieza to the point vegeta could beat him, or whether goku will be the cause of a new vegeta transformation etc goku will inevitably have a major role in this move.

What i'm most curious about so far though, is the interaction between frieza and vegeta, and what vegeta is doing during the goku frieza fight? also the disturbing look he gives goku. I'm starting to believe he joins sides with frieza for a brief part of the movie before switching back. kinda hope not, as it would be a regression in his character development. then again that seems to be the case with a few other characters in this movie.

It could be genuine concern. He may feel that he has the power, but he cannot access it and it goes back to what Whis says.

I think the chance of Vegeta rejoining up with Freeza is next to none, he absolutely HATES Freeza and everything he stands for. That disturbed look Vegeta gave Goku? You're probably reading far to deeply in to that. The most likely meaning behind that looks could just be Vegeta surprised at Goku losing, and possibly wondering if he has what is needed to defeat Freeza.

We've all seen how Vegeta has grown throughout the series. He's loyal to Goku, and I don't need to list all the reasons why because they should be obvious. We saw the true turning point for Vegeta and his path toward redemption when he sacrificed himself in an effort to rid Earth of the threat Buu posed; a completely selfless act, completely. Any chance that Vegeta had at regressing to his evil or deplorable ways, ended during the Majin Buu saga. Vegeta has proven where his heart and loyalty lies, it's on the side of good.

So again. That look he gave Goku in that trailer, there's no ill intent behind it. He probably thought Goku wouldn't struggle to beat Freeza, so now he's left to shoulder the immense weight of everyone counting on him, and he is most likely unsure if he can even beat Freeza seeming how Goku appears to lose, if in fact Vegeta does face down Freeza and win.

I'd love it if Vegeta was hiding and watching Goku's fight with Freeza.

''Yeah, see how you like it, Kakarrot.''

He might've been doing some extra training with Whis in order to get that new style of fighting down while Goku rushes ahead and, as a result, gets wrecked.

Theres a pic of vegeta with goku with the others (seemingly) just before the fighting begins.

This guy gets it.

With everything that has been implied about this film, I hope it pans out.

He looks too calm. Also you guys need to consider the entire (supposed) scene. Vegeta will(most likely) be there to witness frieza transforming and sensing his pl.

So that look can only mean hes very confident i.e learned a new form and kept it a secret or he realized gokus obvious mistake in loosing to frieza and pities him before confronting frieaza. or the more extreme scenario(as i pointed out) he joined sides with frieza and that scene is where he switches back.

If its either one of the first 2, i wonder if it will play out like with kid buu where they play rock paper scissors and watch the other fight?
