None of them trained. Not the PTO which was mutants, not the Saiyans , and not the nameks. Its an earth thing to do.

Even if you go back to episode of Bardocks mini story which gives us their history a little bit more, we the idea that no one trains. The Saiyans all get their strength from battle and coming back and healing. That's why Bardocks group got noticed, they kept surviving, healing, getting stronger bit by bit. So Frieza and crew just killed them before they got stronger over trying to improve themselves. That's a trend with them. Even in canon, Ginyus solution to get stronger isn't to train, it's to body jump.

Goku trains because he was raised on earth. Vegeta trained after he settled down on earth from Namek. Piccolo trains because he lives on earth. Nappa is outright shocked the guys on earth all jumped from below 300 to over 1000 in a year, so that tells you he doesn't train. Jeice and Burter are shocked that there are two people they don't know of who are over 10,000 when Gohan and Krillin power up. Ginyu said it was impossible for a Saiyan to be 6 figures. Nail got the taboo power up from guru to serve as his protector, but even he looks at piccolo half in awe while dying.

My point is they wouldn't train, hell they don't seem to know what training is outside earth. And as far as Frieza goes, he and his dad would think they are the strongest there was. Yakon comes from a planet no one inhabits and visits, Dabura comes from a Demon realm sort of like a canon Garlic Jr, and Pui Pui also comes from a place that's unknown and isn't reachable without magic.

But the fact is these guys who don't train are superior to these guys who spend their whole life training at the introduction of Z. The fact is Vegeta had been on mission for years on end and wasn't more than a match for Cui.

Frieza in the manga says we are going to do what they do, we will train. It isn't said how hard or where he trains, but if they can create a chamber that heals him totally now 2 decades later, it's not crazy to think they can create a gravity machine that's a rival for Bulma and Dr Briefs.

---------

We were told once before that shenron can't impact cybernetics. If he could, he would have reconstructed 16. He would have turned 17 and 18 human. He can remove them to some degree like the android bombs, but his power on them is very limited.
I guess it'd be okay but it just means that the z fighters have always had a massive unfair advantage in every fight they've ever been in and are actually quite weak.
I mean think about it for a second. Cell doesn't train, he just knows how to fight. Frieza just knows how to fight, and rather work hard, he just blows up a planet if there is a threat. 17 and 18 from all we know about them, had never fought a day in their lives. Hell Kid Buu just rampages around and absorbs those that bother him like the Kai's or Saiyans.

I mean if you think about it, we only see two villains that train. One is Dabura who we see prepare himself for battle mentally before going out, but again he's from a different realm. The other is that of Majin Vegeta, who has spent what 10-12 years including ROSAT preparing to get his rematch? Vegeta is scoffed at as well by Goku who dismisses his skill and say ill end this quick, until he learns someone who actually trains hard as Vegeta has can match him punch for punch.

And I guess if you want to call Beerus a bad guy, he trains too

This is why I assumed training would do nothing for them. I always thought Freeza is naturally strong but unable to gain anything from training, the polar opposite of the saiyans. The androids are artificially created machines so I doubt they can get anything from training. Cell got more power by absorbing people and the androids, so training wasn't his priority, it may have become one had he had the time. Boo is a magical being who instantly heals, I doubt he can train to increase his strength. Now, it turns out Freeza could have put effort in for 4 months and he'd eclipse everyone but for some reason he never bothered. Vegeta never had time to train under Freeza, he was always sent away on missions.

I have a hard time thinking cell couldn't improve if he trained himself in that week. He can literally train in every environment including space before the cell games if he cared to and abuse the zenkai if he felt like it.

I'm not sure if they didn't train because they were lazy or just because they didn't know how? There were no master teachers running around

Cell certainly knew how, he just wanted a challenge at his Cell games. At Cell's level of power a week isn't that much. The difference is that Freeza allegedly knew of Boo and Beerus and his ability to get stronger but still refused to.

It looks like one of the scouters is able to detect Freeza without breaking. Might get some Battle Powers stated after all.

And I wanna know who the guy and girl are who turn SSJ next to Vegeta and Goku.

I've never heard of it but okay.

I thought maybe it was Tarble and Bra. Speaking of which, it seems as though Bra is being written out of continuity entirely.

Whis better not be a lazy a*** I want to see him fight Frieza. It's going to be really annoying if whis is still stronger than goku and vegeta after their training and doesn't do anything

She doesn't have to be written out, just younger than pan. This is Bulmas big chance to finally see Frieza. Hell it's her chance to build a Gundam

Well I don't care if we don't get some Galaxy shattering attack or some crazy s*** like that I just want to see some action from whis. I wonder if Frieza is too strong even for him

Edit: actually it would be cool to see some destruction like battle of gods had or more

Battle of gods fight scenes were all over the place. I hate this habit toei animation has. They love to zoom in and its annoying as hell. You can't see s***
The animation style on the fight scenes were so awful, I'm really hoping they use a style closer to the original and not some Dragonball Z Jimmy Neutron crossover graphics again.
