How do the Japanese feel about Goku? I mean I imagine they are Toriyama's first concern. Are they as cynical as us about seeing Goku save the day yet again? I always thought the Vegeta love was a more Western thing.

Also, Freeza's thinking when he decided 'Beerus only appears occasionally so w/e' was pretty stupid considering at the start of BOG Beerus moans about how annoying Freeza is and that he might just go and kill him if he can be bothered to make the journey. He wakes up every 30 years, eventually he would have been motivated enough and one, two or even a whole series of anime episodes wouldn't be enough time for Freeza to train and take on the God of Destruction.
The feeling perhaps was not mutual.

I get that but how could Freeza possibly know? Beerus' job isn't just to simply destroy but to destroy in order to maintain balance. Freeza and his efforts to destroy/enslave whoever he wants based on his own ambition alone and him also being vastly stronger than every other naturally born being would make him a pretty likely candidate for removal as far as I can tell. He's pretty disruptive to the natural evolution of other species and surely he would realize that himself and either stop or train.

What's up with frieza in a cocoon thing in hell(?)? Shouldn't he just be some soul floating around? Is this cocoon idea new or is that what usually happens in hell? Dufaq is going on there?

I see it as Enma punishing Freeza with his mechanical body to remind him of his demise. He's stuck in a cocoon so he doesn't cause trouble.

Will Beerus be angry when he see Whis training them ?
Or he already know?

It will likely be a lover's quarrel of some sort, but it will be comedic due to Toriyama's favoritism of humor.

Hang on a minute. If Freeza could be regenerated from pieces by just being chucked in a regeneration tank, then why didn't Cold just put what was left of Freeza in a tank after finding him in space, instead of giving him a mechanical makeover?

The technology simply wasn't available at the time.

Perhaps the mechanical makeover was the purpose of the power-up he achieved.

The planet trade organization is meant to have fallen into chaos without their leader and yet they're making wondrous medical breakthroughs.

They would have to make up their shortcomings with something.

The world economy has not been all that great, but everyone is making some sort of advancement.

---

I do find it stupid that they did not use the second wish to piece Frieza back together, but it is probably a plot device because Frieza would blow a fuse if he was still on Earth after being restored and destroy it.
