Nope you would think they were teleporting becuase they are moving so fast your brain can't keep track of thier speed Doesn't imply anything at all about going light speeds lol Just a way of saying someone is going fast No Raikage was actually keeping up with teleportation speeds and he then compared Naruto to teleportation speeds. Someone who can keep with with the speeds will have a valid opinion on the topic. If the acceleration in space is faster then it would matter. It could accelerate from 100 km/h on Earth 1mil/kh in space (death of the author remember). Sometimes beams later in the series are a conversation's worth of time. They don't take seconds at all.

He didn't look like he was teleporting. Naruto characters have looked like they were teleporting since day one. He was compared to the speed of someone who was teleporting by someone who was nearly as fast as someone who can keep up with a teleporter. 2. Death of the author gets rid of that. There's no author therefore no free action.

It certainly has special properties, and realistically if everything else failed, he'd have no choice but to try it.
