Animals can talk, fighters can shoot ki blasts and move extremely quickly, a dog is president, technological civilizations and dinosaurs coexist, etc. My point is the following: Is there anything that indicates that the size of DBZ's version of Earth's solar system is significantly smaller than our own? If it is smaller (would have to be significantly so), then SPC's statement about being able to destroy the solar system might have more credulity. Thoughts?
	We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

I think Toriyama writing Cell as a solar sustem buster was because he forgot how hard it is to actually do it and just wanted to show how strong Cell was. In any case i think Toriyama never planned for the DBZ solar system to be smaller than our own, rather he miscalculated a bit.

The moon also seems fairly close in the manga, and apparently Boss Rabbit could breathe on the moon (often interpreted as a gag scene). What goes against all this is that Toriyama said that the moon is the same distance from Earth as it is in the real life. It was kinda candid like "sure, why not". Seems kinda fishy how he knew exact the distance off the top of his head TBH. Personally I think he drew it to be much smaller in the manga with only 4 galaxies and forgot later on.
