Has anybody else here played the old Indiana Jones games where you have to solve puzzles by pointing and clicking? I got one off gog.com and it's really compelling. Right now I'm lost in an old cavern in Crete. I keep going round in circles with no clue how to progress. It's beast. I had one when I was little but it wasn't this game.

They're made by the same people who made Monkey Island so it's that kind of thing. They kind of keep a bit of the silliness of them as well.

The only point and click game I have played was the "Being one" series. Yeah point and click type of games are pretty fun as they require you to solve puzzles ranging from simple to hard. They are interesting to play also if they have good story. For me the story has got to be of a suspense/thriller/horror type to play a point and click type of game.

Anyways back to the topic. If yours is a commercial game then I am pretty sure their is a "walkthrough" in the internet. You probably could also get a "video walkthrough" on YouTube. You could also get "Text" based walkthroughs in sites like gamefaq etc.

But only if your really stuck in the game use the walkthroughs, otherwise there is no fun in playing point and click games.

It came with a digital hint book. I checked out the walkthroughs online and they're not much different to what the hint book suggests.
