Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Gohan decides that he needs to help Goku so Majin Vegeta doesn't siphon his energy to Buu.

The question is not whether Majin Vegeta can win.

The question is whether Majin Vegeta would end up collecting enough energy from the two of them to free Buu.

What do you think?

Personally I don't think he could. At best he would land a couple blows here and there, but two fighters is too much for him to consistently damage.

Could he take Gohan out of the question if he suddenly attacked him very quickly and brutally?

If he can't, then the father-son duo should prevent the energy from being taken.

Logically, it makes you wonder why Goku or Gohan didn't think of this after Babidi transported them away from people.

In terms of the show, I am still glad they didn't think about that b/c Goku vs. Majin Vegeta was awesome

Honestly, yes. Vegeta only had to land a few blows against Goku to finally fill up Boo's meter. Basically in the time that Gohan and Kaioshin got down to the bottom and Babidi got them outside, Boo's meter was already at full power.

In fact I think Gohan would be more of a liability here because he's so weak compared to the others that he's not even a factor and he can't be used as a distraction or meat shield because the moment Vegeta has his eyes on him, he's going to beat his sorry a*** so badly he'll turner paler than ghost rider. Without an amped attack, I don't see Gohan doing anything, I don't see any of his attacks so much as making Pre-Majin Vegeta, much less Majin Vegeta look at him.

If this was just a regular match of who could win who, obviously Goku, I mean Goku's already equal to Vegeta, hell with PIS or CIS off I'd have Goku winning alone. But if its just if Vegeta can still get enough damage, oh hell yes. In the short amount of time it took Vegeta, you could get two Goku's out here and he'd probably still manage it in the end.

I agree with Brofist here, the anime drugs the fight a while longer and gives wrong impressions, but looking at the manga it didn't took Majin Vegeta to much time to gather energy, Majin Vegeta beats Gohan quikcly and has some shots at Goku and it is done :) .

Gohan is weak he can't help his father unless he's enraged.
