FP Perfect Cell's Statement and SSJ2 Multiplier

When Gohan was starting to transform into SSJ2, Cell had mistaken it for SSJG3 which Trunks had tried to use earlier.

Cell tells Gohan that SSJG3 would be useless against him.

Beyond just speed loss, when Cell says this, does he mean in terms of raw power as well?

If he also means in terms of raw power, then SSJ2 has to be significantly above the standard "2x" SEG multipliers assign even when just using a minimal scale:

SSJ2 CG Gohan > Weighted FP Perfect Cell (raw power) > FP Cell > SSJG3 Gohan > SSJG2 Gohan > SSJ Gohan

Yeah i remember Cell mistaked Gohan for an USSJ, and that he also stated it will do him no good. To me that statement implies that SSJ2 ~> USSJ in terms of raw power or equal as you like. I dont see a reason for the 2x multiplier to change, Cell knew Gohan must have surpassed him in strengh but he als knew the drawbacks of USSJ so he thought even if Gohan does posses more power, it's useless because of the speed loss.

FP Perfect Cell seemed genuinely surprised and scared by SSJ2 CG Gohan.

In contrast, when he thought Gohan was going to use SSJG3, he wasn't concerned at all.

Then when Gohan's SSJ2 transformation is finished, Cell's calm fades away and he is shocked that his punches did almost nothing to SSJ2 Gohan.

To me, this implies that Cell expected his FP to be stronger than an hypothetical SSJG3 Gohan's power.

Admittedly, it is difficult to actually prove this since Cell says nothing about just raw power, which means he could've just been factoring in the speed deficiency.

However, these are my current thoughts on the matter: it may or may not be true.

Not really scared, just very impress and taken by suprise. Like i said before i have SSJ2 slightly ahead of USSJ when it comes to raw power alone. That's why Cell was suprised cause the USSJ form he thought was way stronger that he expected(note Cell thought it was USSJ, but it was just SSJ2).

Cell thought at full power he could be above even SSJ2 Gohan :p

That is the reason why I think USSJ mulitplier is the same as SSJ2 both of them is *4 of regular SSJ

I see, but the key here may be when he was impressed and surprised, my friend.

Cell wasn't impressed by speed feats. Rather, he was impressed by the second half of the SSJ2 transformation.

After just saying that SSJG3 is useless, he is impressed by what he thought Gohan was doing.

Cell knows how much power SSJG3 yields; he fought Trunks. Like you said, this transformation (SSJ2) yielded more power than he was expecting.

The fact that he is impressed after the line could potentially hold some weight in conjunction with how easily Gohan beat both FP and Buff Cell.

Maybe the actual strength multiplier was above the current cell and he thought it has the drawbacks of grade 3 that is why he was so confident by gaining some actual advantage by shrinking the gap with the power up while maintaining the speed issue....
