I don't want the fuss of the police. I think that's too far just for people having some drunken fun. But some people across the street can be very noisy when they have something to celebrate. Which seems to be every month or so. I'm talking loud group singing, music and wooping at past 1am. They also have a dog that they leave barking in their conservatory for hours on end. What would you do about these annoying people? To be honest I'm not going to do anything. I'm just interested in other people's opinions. |

I'd go join and be noisy with them. Why not?

Options include but aren't limited to: Shoot them Shoot them again Poop on their floor, bound to interrupt their fun Buy a flea bomb set it off and throw it in a window, or tear gas if you can get it Do nothing and hope someone else reports them Plant drugs in their house then report them Burn the house down Satanic rituals Blood rituals Steal a possessed item and leave it in the house On a serious note our neighbours can be noisy too but they live right above us so we hear them running around the room or something having a party. I don't why people have to be so damn inconsiderate, if you go and tell them to quiet down they won't because you asked them they will because you might get the police on to them, it's not to be nice at all. Does music really need to be so loud that the bass shakes your house from across the street? Maybe they're all deaf from damaging their hearing so much I guess. |

It's not even the music that's loud, it's just their group singing. 2am now and they're still going. I have headphones on and I can still hear them.

Short of the police / noise control, all I can really think of is moving out. |

Yeah, outside of getting the police in involved there's not really much that can be done. You can of course try asking them to be considerate, but I think in most cases, the people who are selfish enough to be so loud in the first place are usually inconsiderate enough to not care when someone has a problem with it. But you never know, so it might be worth asking them. |

Judging your description of their behavior, they're not courteous in the slightest, and clearly don't care about the people who live around them. I live in a fairly remote area with a few houses in the vicinity, but even I don't leave my barking dog outside for more than a half hour or so; not even on the weekends, and never when it's starting to get late. You could simply ask them to be courteous to you, but either way, it should be common sense to not be loud into the wee hours of the morning. I can understand it happening once in a while, but if it's frequent, than the best thing to do is to place a call anonymously to the police. Therefore your neighbors won't know who called the cops on them. |
