Google Chrome	Is there any information stating whether or not the form he was in during the Namek saga was his original body? There's no telling how many poor souls he's used that technique on.

Chrome Favourite Manga One Punch Man	I'm pretty sure another guide says that Sauzer is the only person who knows Ginyu's true form / original body, so yeah, all signs say that he's used the technique before. It's probably how he got that 120,000 power level in the first place.

Jheese!! How much is my battle power?!" Jheese: ".....Twe... 23,000...." Ginyu: “Twe…23,000…only 23,000…!?” It would appear Ginyu is shocked that he can't access all of Goku's power, or at least that he can only access so little of it. Why would he be shocked? There can only be two options here in my mind. 1) He's never actually used the body swapping technique before, so he'd only be assuming the best case scenario for its use. 2) He's used it before and had some extent of success, at least. I believe it to be the second option. Not only does Jeice recognize that Ginyu is about to use the technique on Goku, implying he's either seen it before or Ginyu just told him about it at some point, but Daizenshuu 7 states that Ginyu's purple body likely isn't his original one, while 2 and 4 give some more info to support this notion. D7 He performed Body Change each time he met a strong opponent, and so only a few people know his original form. Daizenshuu 2 and 4 also chime in on this technique. Daizenshuu Crying "Change!!", he fires a dazzling light at his opponent from out of his entire body. After being covered by this light, his opponent is drawn into Ginyu's body through the mouth, and they exchange bodies. In order to exchange consciousness with his opponent, the user of this technique has a ball of his own consciousness invade his opponent's body through the mouth, and he obtains their body. It takes some time for both people to get used to their switched bodies, and during that time they are unable to freely control their power. (Daizenshuu 2, p.212 / Daizenshuu 4, p.58)

He could have been a lower-level soldier and gained power to rise through the ranks by stealing the bodies of his enemies. Maybe he didn't originally work for Freeza at all. He seems to be a type of dude to work for Frieza for ages. Being a Ginyu force captain and having 2nd command isn't a 50 year job (seeing how old Frieza is lol).
