Samoan? Goku's from space so who knows. Do Aliens have ethnicities? I think the Namekians do. I know Piccolo is demon/evil tribe while Kami is Dragon tribe.

Japan is pretty xenophobic and they like to portray non-Japanese as either racist parody or downright villains most of the time. Canonically, all Saiyans have black hair and 99% of Japanese have jet black hair, the other has brown. Goku and his family are certainly Asian, Vegeta is too(he's short hehe), though I would cast live action Vegeta as possibly British for the uppity mightier-than-thou vibe. General Blue is white aryan, possibly German, General White is Russian, Commander Red is a ginger, possibly scottish. Mrs. Briefs is either white or the rare blonde Japanese. I like to think of the whole Briefs family as white since they are in West City, and white people come from the west in real life. I think Uub is Indian based on his clothing and skin color. I like to think of Krillin as Chinese or Tibetan. If you notice, Tenshinhan is one of the few characters with semi-realistically shaped eyes. He's pretty tall too, so I'm thinking white. Piccolo is black. No discussion. As for Upa and Bora. I don't know, Mexican?

That's enough evidence to prove they aren't Japanese.

Everybody's always trying to creep up on your artistic license; it's insulting! Goku and the rest of the Saiyans are extraterrestrials. They're not any kind of race we have on our planet. I could see Chi-chi with some Japanese undertones, though.

Krilin is a monk, probably Asian or something. 18 looks like either Russian or a girl from USA somewhere in LA, would probably be a hollywood star beating Cameron Diaz in the a*. Edited by Alex D.
