Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	So Gai in the 8th Gate vs...who can beat him? Firstly without going to obvious extremes like the Guren Lagan machines who would be on an almost equal level with Gai and be able to beat him outside of Naruto? He totally went Super Saiyan with that 100x boost so what level of power from other series would be needed to take him out in your opinion? I'm not sure what tier but definitely DBZ level, especially going by how ridiculously deep a hole his first punch put Madara down. Actually not even a punch just the air pressure from him punching making actual contact would be insanity. Secondly who could perhaps not beat him but survive long enough for him to die due to the nature of the technique? Discounting people who regenerate.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Shaman King, Naruto, Blue Exorcist, Bleach, Pokemon Adventures	Most of the DBZ-verse's strongest contenders are as durable as they are powerful, so I think that above base Gotenks in tier would probably stand a decent chance against Gai, and maybe even that is generous in Gai's favour. Against most manga characters Gai could have this one though. It's interesting, a lot of older manga had much more powerful characters overall, Saint Seiya comes to mind, more recent manga have had quite tame power levels in comparison.

It's hard to place him since it'd feel somewhat wrong to place him at a Boo saga level, yet still have a feat that puts him theoretically above everyone in DBZ. For those who don't know his punches/kicks began to warp reality around him. Just gonna arbitrarily put him at post 100G Goku in terms of speed/strength but weaker in the durability department.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Shaman King, Naruto, Blue Exorcist, Bleach, Pokemon Adventures	8 gates Gai is a glass cannon, he has immense power (that I would honestly put at Buu saga level, though no higher than Super Buu and Gotenks in base) but is really quite fragile, not to mention he has a very fast-approaching expiration date seeing as he is essentially a taijutsu-based suicide bomber after activating the 8 gates. I'd say in sheer speed and power (most of which was off screen, unfortunately) he's probably late Cell saga, very early Buu saga level.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah but it clearly lasts a few minutes at least it seemed like that amount of time had passed while we were seeing Naruto and Sasuke. So against DBZ tiers he should last long enough I'd imagine. Not sure about the whole glass cannon thing either Madara never really hit him, his leg broke with Night Moth yeah but that was his final technique and he'd clearly went even further past his limits. He should be decently durable if his body can handle the amount of strength he has for however long. What about high tier Bleach characters? (Ark is reading atm so be nice and use spoiler tags) Certainly a couple who might give him a run for his money.

Most of them can move around moons, and I remember in Frontier Lucemon and Emperor Graymon shattered a could of the Digital World's moons. If hype is actually up to snuff, Yusuke Uramashi from Yu Yu Hakusho or Haru Glory from Rave Master may very well be able to fight him to a standstill on Durability, if not energy volume and hax respectively.

I'd rank him 23rd TB level, so that's where he'll be. He'd lose to BoZ Goku/Piccolo, and would lose to Raditz. He's not anywhere near Cell/Boo arc as you guys are saying.

Going off what I know at least, I extremely doubt gai can hit as hard as buu saga let alone namek saga characters like some of you guys are saying.
