Strange bumps

So I've had these strange bumps now for about a week or so. They're very small red bumps on my stomach area. It started out as just a couple, but now there are several. At first I thought they might be flea bites, but they don't really itch, and they don't look exactly like what flea bites should look like. Basically, they just look like small pimples without the whiteness or anything. It's really weird.

I guess it could be a strange reaction to something, or a mysterious rash of some sort, but I really have no idea. Maybe it's another bug of some kind? I'm scared.

May as well just go to the doctor if it isn't trouble.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Not sure if it's the same thing, since mine were on my arms where there is a fair bit of hair, but I had a similar problem a little while ago with a couple red bumps (very small, pimple like ones) and was told that it was do with the hair follicles on my arm. I was told that as long as it was a small number and cleared up quickly (which it did) that there wasn't anything to worry about.

But yeah, might not be that, so I echo what everyone else has been saying about when in doubt, check with your doctor.

I've had the same problem starting a few weeks ago. It wasn't bug bites, and not an allergy thing either. I decided it probably had to do with the really high humidity in this area that I'm not used to. Wash the area 3+ times a day, and use tea tree soap if you can find it (Walmart usually has it). Mine cleared up within a week, so if it doesn't start fading within a couple days you may want to see a doctor because it's probably different than what I had. I hope this helps!

My Dear Melancholy,

This might sound weird but do you wear a belt? Some people are unknowingly allergic to the material in which the belt was made out of.

Thanks for the responses guys! I'm thinking it's not bug bites since they don't itch. It could be a reaction to something.

And no, I don't wear a belt. They're on my abdomen mostly.

I've seen stories like this before. See the doctor first, if the doctor can't find anything wrong, visit a paranoia specialist. There are people waking up to mysterious bumps and scratches too. I hope whatever is causing it, it is rid-able.
