Base Gotenks Pre < SSJ Goten pre

 This is a serious thread.

Has it ever crossed any of your minds that Base Gotenks could actually be weaker than SSJ Goten?

I'm asking this because someone on neoseeker is arguing this right now, and it's simply a pile of cat anus.

I'd say maybe Super Saiyan Goten would do better in a fight, but he's certainly not stronger than his fused alter-ego.

 I also find it to be cat anus, but I also find it hard to believe that (Pre ROSAT) Base Gotenks is over 50x stronger than Base Goten.
The only way that I find that this would work is if the multiplier for SSj is reduced to 10, like Toriyama said he imagined it while drawing the manga.
The 10x multiplier to me seems to make more sense to me when discussing character placements.

I put Pre-Base Gotenks around Perfect Cell, which to me, is slightly above SSj Goten, of whom I have around Cell Games SSj Goku. Obviously Goten's level increases after he trains in the ROSAT.

 I try to avoid chain topics, to be honest. Call me lazy, but it's too much thinking. I just like comparing characters to other characters that we've seen earlier in the series when it comes to power. It's easier to imagine two characters as equal than to argue over what character is stronger than the other.

 At best, I'd say SSJ Goten is equal to base Gotenks(Pre), but Gotenks certainly ain't weaker.
