So a very long time ago some dude from my neighbourhood knew a dude (As you can see, I can't track it down) who had a really awesome Dragon ball game in a CD. It's was like a mini 2D game, where all of the characters were doll-like designed and you could choose 2 of them and have a battle with your buddy. You could fly arround your screen, (I'll repeat that it was 2D) throw punches and kicks, make a spirit bomb, kamehameha, a basic energy blast and accumulate your energy (like in the anime series) to become stronger and turn into a super saiyan. There were several different backgrounds (sort of maps) and sometimes, when you unleashed a powerful enough attack, the battle was taken to another map. I have been looking for this game in the net for quite a while and had no success. I MUST find this game, it was too cool. Any ideas will be appreciated. Edited by Vlt16, Oct 28 2014, 12:44 PM.

Well, sounds to me like it could be one of the early Budokai games on PS2 & GC |

Budokai ones are waaaay too modern and they're 2,5D. The one I'm looking for is completely 2D and really simple. The characters were not like modern plastic dolls (action figures), but like ragdolls, you know the old, hand sewed ones. Thanks for taking your time anyways

I found it!!! just by an accident. No zoidberg, it's not a trading card game. It's called lemming ball z. I'm downloading it right now from lbz3d.com and I hope it'll be as good as it was back in the day when I was a kid. I strongly suggest you try it folks! |

Oh I was going to comment on what it was. It was an indie game that came out a long time ago. I had a friend that was obsessed with it. It was for windows, but apparently also for linux. It was similar to Ultimate Battle 22 for the Playstation, in that it was 2d and kind of like street fighter in it's game play. However the thing that turned me off of it was how recognizable the sprites were during game play. It's really hard to tell who you're playing or playing against because they are so tiny. |
