For me was TES4:Oblivion Brilliant story Really we'll done and realistic medieval city's Weapons up to dewarven were realistic after that a bit fantasy Good dialogue for npc and political levels were visible Skyrim is a very close second, as after every corner there is always something new And the graphics and skill tree were far superior to oblivion. |

once upon a time there lived a man, this man had all the awensers to every question man made, however he could not speak, when he awoke one morning he found two men discussing a topic he was all too familiar with so as usual he tried to explain the awenser to them, but they just ignored him and carried on at that momment a box came along and told the man: "If you really want people to hear your ideas even if you are right to cant just tell them they must serch for it, if you like you can live inside me and people can come and ask me there questions and i shall respond with your awensers" The man nodded and lived inside the box, people constantly consult the box for awensers but sometimes dont believe it,You know what the mans name was: -internet | |

Oblivion for me, I have only played it and Skyrim but still. I found Skyrim annoying, that people could critical hit and insta-kill you randomly unless you turned it off was lame. I also thought the skill progression was less fun than Oblivion it was great having a silly acrobatics skill then getting the Boots Of Springheel Jak and being able to jump like 3 meters forward and then go in a circle and land back where you started. Never actually completed Oblivion though, I always found myself wandering off and exploring everything it was just...much more fun and beautiful to me. With Skyrim after completing it I decided to get the Platinum trophy so looked at the list and it turned out I'd done like 90% of it it was quite disappointing. Didn't even sink that much time in to it, there's a whole lot of nothing in that game. I wish Bethesda would just lightly remaster both and upgrade them for new gen hardware as well as Fallout 3 and New Vegas that would be epic. Crafting in Skyrim was great but weapon design in Oblivion was so much better fine steel swords looked superb everything in Skyrim looked like it was amatuer-ly done even if your skill was at max. |

It was Oblivion for me as well. The soundtrack was better than Skyrim's and the world was more colourful. I also really enjoyed those old Elven ruins. The game felt much more like an old school fantasy game than Skyrim did. I liked that vibe. |

Yep that was really fun exploring and it was really butiful and I don't know what I was thinking with the skill tree oblivion was much better at that i once jumped so high I thought I was gonna fly But oblivion would be better with a werewolf rather than just vampire. |

Yeah I'd love to go back to...err...Tamriel...or Cyrodil, I forget which one it's set in and which one is the name of the world but whatever. Skyrim's landscape felt far more medieval than fantasy to me it just had some fantasy style creatures in it but Oblivion had whole areas that were clearly not of this world, Shimmering Isle is a huge example. And Oblivion itself was pretty cool there wasn't much to do but it was cool going to it and closing the portals not to mention how they affected the rest of the world. Dragons were epic but I rarely found them doing anything interesting, sometimes they'd be attacking a town but most of the time they'd just be flying around attacking giants or bandits. The main problem I have with Oblivion is the character models, good god some of the people look ugly Skyrim had it's fair share of ugo's too but they weren't all bad.

I think shouts were a bad idea personally. They're epic...but the next game shouldn't have them, unless you're the Dragonborn...again. Everyone's just going to be like wow this game is cool...no FUS RO DAH though. They'll have to one up that power somehow. |

I'd love to be able to transcend into some sort of godly figure in a future Elder Scrolls game. That'd be fun. Anyways, I'll go with Skyrim. Never really got into Oblivion. |

I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim, but Oblivion by far. Skyrim was just far too shallow and is basically unplayable for me now unless I use mods. I haven't played it, but Morrowind's landscape looks f***ing amazing. |

Yeah but for many people they were the highlight of the game, shouts and dragons, The next game shouldn't have either, people will be disappointed. Especially those who played Skyrim first.
That'd be epic like that one of The Nine that was a person to begin with. |
